Excited to share that I’ll be part of the international judging panel for the Global Entertainment Awards 2025. The @globalentertainmentawards are all about celebrating entertainment marketing across Cinema, Streaming, TV, and Games. It’s a thrilling showcase of culture and creativity. What I love most is that everyone enters on equal footing, and the judging is all about merit. It’s a fantastic chance to shine a light on emerging talent and help winners level up their creative skills. If you’ve got the talent, don’t hold back—show it off to a global audience and enter the #globalentertainmentawards2025 by @wynokpapi

I’m so proud to have been the Casting Director on the first MTN Original Series. @mtnonetv Some projects stay with you long after the cameras stop rolling, and *100 Reasons to Stay Single in Lagos* will always be one of them. Bringing 112 characters to set after considering more than 300 options took months of planning, hard work, and plenty of sleepless nights. My wonderful Cast, thank you for your talent, commitment and energy. @miseducationofmimi , I’m especially proud of you. I saw the care, dedication, and heart you poured into this journey, and it means so much to celebrate what you’ve accomplished together. Thank you for being such a wonderful human. We did it ❤️ To the best team @eirinicreatives, much love❤️ More posts to come….. by @wynokpapi
For the past few months, I’ve been proud to serve as Experiential and Communications Lead for Film Lab Africa 2, a British Council project delivered by @ebonylifecreativeacademy and Iconic Steps. Seeing creatives gain access to training, mentorship, and the chance to make their own films while connecting with stakeholders in the film industry has been incredibly rewarding. From delivering Film Club and Creative Hustle events across different states to witnessing the impact of the programme firsthand, I’m grateful to play my part. We gathered at the beautiful @ebonylifeplacelondon 🥰😍 for a teaser screening of films by our seven creative producers, also representing their fellow writers as part of the UK Showcase @allenagozie @ettajomaria @damilolakehinde_ @tunjienahoro @officialfeebee @mudiaena_ @onyeakuko__ . So proud🙌🏽👏🏽. A big thank you to the best team @miseducationofmimi , @mogentlemedia , @drikus.volschenk , @michaelwilliams1007 (Thank you for the tour🫡) and our support system, Nelson, Uloma, James, Andrea and Bolanle. @ngbritisharts @ebonylifecreativeacademy @iconicsteps Here’s a peek at how it went in London. Next up! Lagos Showcase. Stay tuned! #filmlabafrica2 #britishcouncil #iam4arts #ebonylifecreativeacademy #iconicsteps by @wynokpapi
About 12 years ago, at the Ake Festival, an annual literary event by @lolashoneyin ,I picked up the book, The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives. I remember it as a truly beautiful, layered story, so standing at BFI @britishfilminstitute for its official cinematic adaptation and loving what has been done with it by @moabudu @danieloriahi and the creative team felt particularly special and incredibly full-circle. I had the privilege of serving as Supporting Cast Consultant on the film, with the best team @eirinicreatives handling the background casting and extras. We screened over 200 actors in the process of finding the right fit for the roles, and it was a reminder of just how much talent we have out there. There are so many incredible actors waiting for the right opportunity, and I look forward to bringing more of that talent to our screens. A truly lovely moment with the team, captured by my lovely Karima❤️ I absolutely love this adaptation. What a beautiful thing to witness, contribute to, and be part of. Cant wait for you all to see it. Thank you to @moabudu , @heidiwena , @danieloriahi and the brilliant creative team for championing this vision. Special thanks to my darling superstar! @miseducationofmimi ❤️❤️. Thank you for all you do🎉💫 Congratulations everyone! This is an extraordinary piece of cinema and I cannot wait for audiences to experience it. Mark your calendars: -4 December: Nigerian Cinema Release -11 December: International Cinema release ✨ Video Captured by my lovely @herofficialinsta #LondonFilmFestival #BFI #CastingProcess #babasegiswives #tslobsw by @wynokpapi
A little peek into the Canva for Business Workshop! 🧡✨ I recently had the opportunity in August to facilitate a Canva for Business workshop for an amazing community @eirinicreatives as a Canva Ambassador and Canva Expert, and it was such a fulfilling experience! One thing I love about teaching Canva is showing people that design doesn’t have to be complicated. With the right tools, knowledge, and a little creativity, you can create visuals that communicate your ideas and elevate your business. During the workshop, we explored practical ways to use Canva for business, got hands-on with design, and turned what we learned into actual creations. 🎨 And the best part? Seeing the creativity come to life and hearing what participants took away from the experience! I’m grateful for the invitation to share my knowledge and for everyone who showed up ready to learn and create. 🧡 @eirinicreatives @wynokpapi @womenmakerseries Swipe through for some highlights, participant feedback, and a look at what we created! 👉 📩 Looking to host a Canva workshop for your community, team, or organization? I’d love to collaborate. Let’s make it happen! #canvaforbusiness #canva #canvassador #canvaexpert #designschool by @wynokpapi
20 years of Mobile Screens & Sound, and they really said, “Let us remind you what we do!” ⭐️🙌🏽🔥 From the moment we stepped into the venue, it was screens, lights, sound… and then MORE screens, lights and sound! Whattttt! 😮‍💨👏🏾 Everything was absolutely top-notch. So, naturally, I had to strut around and experience (and model 😂) every space. For those who don’t know, MSS is where my 9–5 journey began. I was part of the team that started The Events Warehouse, and those years taught me so much about events management, production and the business of creating experiences. I remain incredibly grateful for that foundation. So being there to witness this milestone some 17 years later was honestly special. ❤️ Congratulations to the entire MSS team, staff and management, @mobilescreen_ng and especially Mr & Mrs KD, one of the most loving, dynamic and inspiring duos you could ever meet. What an incredible milestone. I am so proud of you both and so grateful to have witnessed this moment. And to Mrs TKD @tayo.kd my sweet lady and Big Sis,thank you for all you do and for always being so wonderful. ❤️ Always lovely to see you my darling Aunt Schullz @schullzz66 You held it down!!! 😘❤️ Hanging with le boo @captaindegzy ❤️ Guys your 1000 capacity hall, Lights, Screens and Sound sorted! We are still open for business. Send us a dm. @thedarlingtonhall.ng @mobilescreen_ng 🎉🎉 #MSS@20 #MobileScreensAndSound #EventsWarehouse #EventProduction by @wynokpapi
Went to see Love in Lagos for one very important mission: to surprise my darling Bisola @iambisola at her very first theatre play. ❤️ And YESSS, she was surprised! 😂 So, goal achieved! 🎯 It was such a joy seeing her shine on stage, and also getting to watch @uzor.arukwe and then @owoboogunde , especially after seeing his amazing performance in Iwe Ala: An Ojude Oba Story. All the actors absolutely brought it! And then there’s Director @mofeduncan with his victory-shine moves 😂👏🏾 He absolutely deserved that celebration because Love in Lagos was such a fun, entertaining piece to watch. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew! And Mr Kola!❤️ Love in Lagos is coming to Nigeria, the US and Canada and I honestly can’t wait for more people to experience it! #LoveInLagos #Theatre #NigerianTheatre #Nollywood by @wynokpapi
“You have to be many things.” ‼️ Ms Winnie Okpapi @wynokpapi spoke to the students yesterday and hit the nail on the head and Ms Winnie doesn’t just say it, she lives it! Award-winning filmmaker, cultural producer, talent manager, programme designer and more! Her career sits at the intersection of culture, commerce and storytelling, and that was the charge she brought to our students at our fireside chat yesterday! In talent management, one skill won’t carry you! On any given day, you’re negotiating contracts, closing brand partnerships, protecting your talent and shaping their story. She has done all of this at the highest level, and she reminded us that range isn’t a distraction from the work, it is the work 🎯 Thank you, Ms Winnie for your honesty, your generosity and the wisdom you poured into our students. 🙏🏾 To the TGM Academy students, take the notes then TAKE THE ACTION! Thank you to our partners @entertainmentandmediahubs ✨ #TGMAcademy #TalentManagement #WiinieOkpapi #CreativeEconomy ConvertingCreativitytoCurrency by @wynokpapi
