April Is sexual assault awareness month

TW: In the first photo was a month after I had an experience with sexual assault, while the second photo is 7 years later. It had taken me 3 years before I could finally tell someone I trusted. Between those 3 years had been hard. I felt alone, and judged by everyone and everything around me. My mind being foggy I couldn’t even focus on my activities or academics. But now, ever since I have opened up and tried to find ways to cope with what happened my life has changed so much. I’m doing great in schooling and have found the most amazing bf who has treated me with nothing but respect and he is someone I can trust. (Which I thought I would never be able to do). And I will forever be grateful for my growth after what had happened. 🤍

1 in 4 woman & 1 in 6 men experience sexual assault in their lifetime. Yet few report there abusers.

Even if you can’t speak out about it, you’re not alone. And it will never be your fault.

Every voice matters. Let’s stand together to raise awareness and support those affected by sexual assault. #BreakTheSilence #YouAreNotAlone

Can’t believe me out of all people made it to graduation! I couldn’t have done it without all the wonderful people in my life.

2024 graduates, whether we were friends , are friends , or just acquaintances, I just want to congratulate you on everything you have accomplished. Yeah so, 2025 actually sucked.
I never thought I could get mentally and physically worse than I have been in the past. But this year proved me wrong. This year also proved to me that literally anything can happen. Whether it’s good things, or mainly bad things. I’ve lost so many people this year. I thought it was gonna be different than 2024. I thought WRONG. Horrible year.
But I guess, sometimes the days were good, sunny, and full of laughter. With all the negative things this year, I grew stronger as a person. Fighting battles I thought I wouldn’t make it out of. But I did. And it taught me something. To take one day at a time.
I learned this year that I focus too much on the future, and what others WANT me to do. Taking it day by day shows me the reality of this world, this nasty blob of grass we call earth. I learned to take control over my life and to stop doing what other people ask of me, which has definitely caused some bridges to burn. But honestly, those needed to burn. It hurts for sure in the moment, and the pain can linger. But I believe things happened for reasons.
Even though a lot of negative things happened this year, a lot of good things happened. I’ve been with my amazing boyfriend Emil for a year now. And i genuinely don’t know how he put up with me this year. I remember all the times I cried to him about the out come of things, if they were my fault, the way I cried to Emil begging for answers he didn’t have. He has stuck with me through it all. And I couldn’t be happier. I love this guy so much. He has truly helped me out the best he could, and I will always be grateful for him and his family. Emil’s family has helped me out so much this year, with helping me get money for my school tuition, giving me a place to stay and feeling welcomed. I wish I could repay them. I love them so so much.
With 2025 finally done, I can only hope that 2026 is better. Thank you to my friends, and family who have supported me these past 12 months. You’re truly a blessing. Bring on 2026!!

Right now, I’m facing some financial challenges, as I’ve been having a tough time finding work. But on the bright side, this has given me the chance to focus on something I truly love — photography!
I’m currently offering affordable photography services as I continue to grow and develop my skills. My rates are beginner-friendly, but as my work improves, prices may increase — so now’s a great time to book!
