Man. I honestly cannot believe I’m saying this- like, never would a boy have dreamed- but on Sunday, October 18th, I will be opening for Paul Oakenfold at Capital Ballroom. Paul was one of the first producers I had in my ears back in 1999, when my journey with Electronic first began. The man is literally known as a ‘foundational pioneer’ of trance, and Perfecto Records founder with Pete Tong?? I mean holy sh*t people, this is an absolutely insane booking for Victoria. Now, because the legend is one of variety, I’ll be bringing a two-hour set that’s every bit as diverse; a love letter to the music that made me fall in love with it all in the first place, and the kind of set I’ve been waiting a very, very long time to play. This is hands down, one of the most surreal moments of my DJ career, and I would love nothing more than to see you all there. Thank you, Dimitri & MRG for this opportunity. Sometimes, a night is so good, like SO fucking good, that it literally takes your breath away, and reminds you how good things can actually get. On Friday, June 5th at @upstairs__entertainment , I was invited to play solo and b2b with the local legend @philkimbs . This was legit two years in the making, and I knew it was gonna be good, but I didn’t know it was going to be in the Top 3 sets of my life (not even exaggerating in the slightest).Thank you to the legend @davevanphoto for all these insane photos and video, to all my friends who came, to my bunny mega babe @drinamarie22 for supporting me all the way, to @sava.vann for rolling with her crew, and lastly, to Phil KIMBZ, Yogi @yogimate and Upstairs Entertainment for having me. A few weeks ago, I put out a mix called Forward Momentum. Synth-forward house and UK garage; high energy, high tempo kinda vibe. I don’t make my mixes in Ableton. I rent speakers from L&M and record it live. I love the process. I’m obsessed with programming and complex transitions. This is, in my honest opinion, the cleanest mix I’ve ever put out.
