had the incredible opportunity to discuss emotion, physiology, and the arts modalities with like-minded friends from @oxford_uni & @aarhusuni through an interdisciplinary panel at @kunekbh

hands-down recommend coming together with cool people to talk about cool things in your community

goal for 2026: more shared learning spaces : )

25: age of whiplash

became a research assistant, journal editor, academic author, acting instructor; expanded clientele beyond genre, spoke at a music conference, threw a festival with the best team, launched my independent panel series; had intimidating conversations with genius people; fell in love with my favorite cities all over again

too many new bonds to count

thankful to the individuals and teams in my life that make living the impossible, possible

kune has a way of forging unexpected connections. i see it as ground 0 for all things play, creation, and community. the epitome (and warmest reminder) of the purest qualities of the copenhagen scene.

@martingilleshoej @kaspermarott @_eclettica @chiarabastoni @maiwennblnt @__ralux @_polina_art_ @leo.313.dt for crafting an immense program and keeping each other sane throughout the process

@alinstunned for trusting us with his baby

@petra.silex @__b.r.e.n.n.a.n__ @thebarefootpolymath and calum for taking a chance on this project and more interdisciplinary talks to come

+ the many many badass people in our core team and volunteers who are the magic behind it all

see you in 2027 💙 @kunekbh #kunekbh taken in Ungdomsøen by @xrenanderson

This year’s edition of KUNE Festival in collaboration with @rendermusicintl will host a panel talk joined by four researchers from the @oxford_uni. This series aims to examine the socio-cultural effects that are shaped and challenged through music, art, movement, and emotional expression.

We are eager to bring together perspectives from various specialties in the academic field to help develop novel perspectives on these areas so close to the heart of KUNE. From the study of groove and its cognitive impetus; the inspirational drive underlying creativity and emotive transmission through sound; movement practices as a means towards a scalable intervention for depression; or the realities of the professional field in behavioural and cultural research, these wide ranging perspectives aim to 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔-𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈-𝒘𝒆-𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒊𝒕.

The talk will be moderated by @xrenanderson, whose research interests lie at the intersection of art, emotion, personality, and psychophysiology, with an audience Q & A to follow. taken in Ungdomsøen by @xrenanderson
