Dancing & breathing with the elements cleanses me of all that is not me. All of the thoughts and stories built of from each day living & interacting. Moving my body & allowing myself to feeeeeeeeel. It’s not easy at first… the mind & all the thoughts begging for my attention… but as I continue to practice focusing on my breath & being loving to all the parts of me - even the thoughts & my mind doing it’s best… My systems begin to merge with the rhythm of life which is always singing & creating subtle yet momentous magic that we often overlook in our fast pace world. The more I notice the more there is to notice… Thankyou earth elements for the opportunity to make love every moment we choose. Four weeks ago we boarded a plane with our 3 month old daughter for her first big adventure through Switzerland.🇨🇭

We skipped the Burn and invested in her nervous system. She met her family, and we prepared her for all the adventures ahead of us. 🌍

We’ve traveled for years, but traveling with her is something else. You see everything for the first time again, through her eyes.

It’s not always easy, but every minute is worth it. Traveling with a baby brings new challenges and tests your relationship on a level you can’t prepare for. And that’s the point. Don’t try to get rid of the obstacle. If you have a calling, difficulty belongs to it. Remove the resistance and you remove the purpose.

I’m so grateful to walk this path with you @yadaaah you are the perfect team mate for the life I only ever dared to dream of. I love you. 🤍

And nothing was ever the same again. 🤍

Welcome Era Śūnyatā Janiec into this world. Born Sunday, May 3rd at 18:01. 3.65kg, 52cm long, and healthy. 🙌🏽

The past two weeks in our baby bubble have been a blessing. Era is a natural at nursing and could win an Olympic gold medal for how much she sleeps. Her cuteness is out of this world, but what really melts our hearts are her tiny grunts and sounds. 🥰

It’s as if a room I never knew existed opened up inside my heart the moment she arrived. Being with her feels like the most natural thing in the world, and I couldn’t have asked for a better mother to walk this path with. 🤍

Thailand has been incredibly practical and baby-friendly: everything delivers to your door, every pharmacy is open late, and people here are unbelievably warm with babies. We couldn’t have imagined a better place. 🌴

The plan is to stay in Thailand until Era’s US passport comes through, then continue on to Europe until the end of September, before landing back in Cape Town for the rest of the year. 🇿🇦

Everything I’ve been building was preparation for this. Day by day, breath by breath. This is the new pace.

Welll… Here is a collection of special, simple, & wild moments from the first weeks/month of finding out we are having a baby 👼🏼💝‼️ This time has been so precious to me that I have been (and still am) increasingly discerning of how I share my energy and time (duh 🤓) . I am definitely accessing how my relationship to social media is changing and curious how It will evolve as Many of you are very dear to my heart and I do love to share inspirations & happenings from time to time. Right now I am so happy to share this little sneak peak of the journey as I step into completely unknown teritory with such gratitude and awe. Aber kaum jemand spricht ehrlich darüber, was passiert, wenn zwei Menschen radikal frei gelebt haben und plötzlich merken: Vielleicht wollen wir jetzt etwas anderes.

While reflecting on allll the epic adventures we’ve been on this summer I keep going back to this one:
Hiking Zugspitze - the tallest mountain in Germany
(We climbed it from the Austrian side). It was truly one of the most special days full of more views and profound moments w/ my love @mischajaniec than I could describe… but hopefully some of these clips can convey a glimpse! Its experiences like this that make me sooooO grateful to have such a strong & healthy body from many years of training and conditioning that made it possible to accomplish. Mischa was excited to see how I would do since he’s done many hikes of this caliber before and I have not… needless to say I was proud to show him but mostly myself! 😌 Many people take several ski lifts to the top to see the views or start the hike after the first or second one but we started all the way from the very bottom and made it to the top in 7 hrs which typically takes people 8-10 hrs (Its 9.8 miles almost all uphill & climbing on all fours towards the end!). Plus our bestie @yoli.dawson met us at the top and then we all went back to our hotel and had the bestttt sauna, cold plunge, food and then sleep of my life. 😇 Definitely gets top 10 in my best/most memorable days ever. 🤍 taken in Zugspitze by @yadaaah

Creating with Yada feels like looking into a mirror and seeing not just myself, but our shared history, love, and spirit reflected back. Through each of our own lenses, we capture each other where we are. It’s so fun feeling safe in front of a lens (since I’m usually behind it)

There’s something sacred about being seen by someone who knows you from the inside out. Every frame holds not just light and shadow, but laughter, trust, and the bond only sisters can share.

Grateful for this dance of creativity and sisterhood, where we honor each other’s essence and tell our story in images that will last long after the moment has passed.

Do you ever let "not having the right space" Or say not having a yoga mat stop you from giving yourself a space to tune in? I personally love finding ways of actively using walls, windows, counters, couches, etc... Just setting a focus in my mind, body & heart of "I am going to allow my body to do whatever it wants with these spaces" - also gives you the opportunity to he more playful & creative and ultimately not take yourself too seriously which for me is the keyyyy 🗝️ - for opening up my whole being to joy & appreciation for the simple things in life. Especially while traveling this has been one of the most helpful mindsets to allow me ground and ultimately not get overwhelmed by life which is quite easy when not always having a familiar space or routine. #wheretheresawilltheresaway - one of my favorite phrases^

People often stare at me while dancing/moving... the thing is: When I was first learning how to feel it would bother or disrupt my flow... but now I don't mind at all!
I am not dancing for them...
I'm letting the wind tickle my hair follicles   - the sunlight ignite my inner light   - mana earth pulse through my hips

When we become a vessel for source shame & all the other shades of "not presence" slip off like clothes you've outgrown... The hottest style is fresh essence and it's pretty darn impenetrable!
