Media rounds before match day! 🎙️📺

On Friday, 17th July 2026, the YALI Network Osun team was live on Wellspring Television and RAVE FM 91.7 to discuss the upcoming U.S. Consulate General Sports Diplomacy Football Programme 2026.

It was an opportunity to share the vision behind the Football-for-Change initiative and invite the public to be part of an event that promotes leadership, unity, and community engagement through sport.

💙 CONSENT MATTERS. BOUNDARIES DESERVE RESPECT. HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS START WITH BOTH.

What does it mean to respect someone’s boundaries? Why is consent essential in every relationship? And how can we build relationships founded on mutual respect, trust, and safety?

As part of our “Speak Up, Stand Up” campaign, we’re creating awareness among young people about consent, personal boundaries, and the importance of recognising healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviours.

Remember:
✅ Consent must be freely given.
✅ “No” means no, and boundaries must be respected.
✅ Love should never involve fear, coercion, or abuse.

Following our first engagement at Nawarudeen Grammar School, we’re taking the conversation to more secondary schools across Osogbo and beyond—empowering students to recognise GBV, challenge harmful behaviours, understand their rights, and become advocates for safer school communities.

At our GBV awareness outreach to Nawarudeen Grammar School, students took a pledge to stand against Gender-Based Violence, promote respect, reject abuse, and speak up when they witness harmful behaviours.

But a pledge is more than words—it’s a commitment to action. Together, we can build a generation that champions safety, dignity, equality, and zero tolerance for abuse.

Today, we visited Nawarudeen Grammar School for our Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness outreach, engaging students in conversations about recognising abuse, understanding its different forms, speaking up, and building safer environments for everyone.

Because preventing GBV starts with awareness, education, and the courage to challenge harmful behaviours.

Every student deserves to feel safe, respected, and protected. Together, we are raising a generation that knows better, stands against abuse, and speaks up for what is right.

Serving as the Financial Secretary, YALI Osun State @yalinetworkosun 2026–2027 administration has been a beautiful learning experience.

Facilitating our healthcare outreach to an underserved community, with the goal of reaching 1,000 community members, taught me the true meaning of hard work, resilience, dedication and finding people who believe in your vision.

I’m also proud that OAM Foundation @_oamfoundation could support the outreach by volunteering and helping provide healthcare access for children in the community.
