Album: “Archivio Futuro” by Yanes

This is a limited, intimate live collection of studio improvisations recorded spontaneously using VCV Rack 2 .

Date eleased , July 7, 2025, mixed and mastered at @hum_studios_ in Hanoi Vietnam

Genre: Experimental • Drone • Techno • Electronic • Modular • Ambient • Industrial.

Concept: a collection of raw, boundary-free experiments that represent my purest creative voice.

It evokes the spirit of 1970s–80s Italian experimental sound libraries, honoring artists like Maurizio Bianchi, Gianni Safred, Alessandro Alessandroni, and Ruscigan. ( Thanks to @nicford_scp for bringing out those artists and showing to me something that I fell connected with )

This isn’t just music - it’s the unfiltered documentation of my studio alchemy. Each track captures moments of discovery where intuition overrides logic, where texture becomes emotion, and where limitations dissolve into pure expression. These are the sounds that have shaped my artistic identity.

A seeker of uncharted frequencies enters the THIRD EYE: YANES ◌

For nearly fifteen years, Yanes has pursued a deep and uncompromising exploration of sound, navigating the spaces where experimentation, emotion and transformation converge. His work unfolds as a continuous search for new sonic territories, guided by curiosity, intuition and a dedication to the endless possibilities of synthesis.

Working extensively with analog instruments, modular systems and electronic hardware, he constructs immersive sound worlds rich in texture, movement and atmosphere. Countless hours spent in the studio have shaped a practice rooted in discovery, where every patch, resonance and fluctuation becomes part of a larger sonic language. Through both live and DJ performances, these explorations emerge as evolving journeys that balance subtle detail with raw intensity.

Rather than following established formulas, Yanes approaches sound as an open process of investigation. His performances unfold organically, allowing shifting textures, hypnotic rhythms and unexpected interactions to guide the listener through deeply personal and transformative spaces. Each set becomes a living narrative, continuously reshaped in the moment.

This spirit of exploration is reflected in his recent album Archivio Futuro, a collection of modular experiments and free-form compositions that offers a glimpse into the deeper dimensions of his artistic practice. Moving between abstraction and immersion, the work reveals a producer committed to expanding the expressive potential of electronic sound.

Beyond his individual output, Yanes has played a significant role in shaping contemporary electronic culture in Vietnam. As the founder of HUM and HUM Studios, established in Hanoi in 2018, he has cultivated a vital platform for artists, listeners and creative exchange. Through these initiatives, he continues to nurture a community where experimentation, culture and collective growth can flourish.

For Yanes, sound is not simply a medium of expression, but a landscape of endless discovery.

Excited to make my debut at @gareporto this Saturday, 25th July.

For years, I’ve heard about Gare’s reputation as one of Portugal’s and European most respected underground clubs . a place where the music always comes first. It’s an honor to finally be part of its story.

Looking forward to sharing a deep journey together with @kohra_ & @andrecascais .

It was an interesting and exciting experience, full of adventures.
It all started at @third_eye_festival, where I played my first drone ambient live set, connected with all the artists involved, and shared some beautiful moments with everyone there. I could say much more, but I don’t think I’ll ever have enough words for it.

I spent plenty of time digging and came back with a beautiful record collection. A few days later, I had the pleasure of playing part of it at @aedenberlin. The club was full, I enjoyed every single minute behind the decks, and it was a great feeling to share my music, express myself as an artist, and deliver a set that truly represented me.

There were also plenty of kebabs, long rides around the city, and that constant feeling of freedom.
I met people working in the industry that I connected with, and others that I didn’t. Once again, I was reminded that it’s always best to stay close to the people who open themselves to you and allow you to do the same. Nothing wrong with that—just being yourself is always the best way.

I visited new clubs, enjoyed listening to friends play, and went back to Berghain, finding inspiration in every moment. There were a few troubles along the way too, but I guess that’s also part of the Berlin experience.
This was also my first long solo trip since being with my wife @ai.lien__ , who I missed, of course. It pushed me out of my comfort zone in every sense. At first, I felt a little lost. Everyone around me seemed so busy and deeply involved in the music scene that it took me some time to find my own rhythm again.In the end, I realized once again that playing music and expressing yourself through it will always be, for me, the best way to connect with people. I’m not a person of many words, but there is never enough music to share.

The Process to get my first Ambient Live set outside Asia was something that i worked hard for, choosing the right instruments understanding the direction and finally put it together for @third_eye_festival . Im satisfied and i personally enjoyed playing and see people enjoying to. Only 1 Week left for the @third_eye_festival . Another big but beautiful challenge. I will perform Live at closing of Friday opening day first Drone Ambient bringing my little part of my Modular synth and a lot of love for sure , bringing a bit of my studio life out there sharing my self with new people important Artist and connecting with the nature… many feelings but i just cant wait for this one happen. @valentin_ginies thanks for the trust.. taken in Berlin, Germany by @yanes_hum

Had a really beautiful times at @synthasia_kr sharing music and talks with old and new friends , also hapy to see people building visions and put so much effort in to it. Production and taking care was 10/10 a fresh project that is going to getting bigger for sure in the future.
