KATE TUME: DEATH MASKS
An exhibition and conversation about art, death, grief and the magical object.

As part of Weird Worthing Folk Fringe, we’re delighted to present an intimate pop-up exhibition of Kate Tume’s award-winning Death Masks project.

Join us for an evening exploring the relationship between art, death and ritual, as Kate is joined in conversation by Richard Manders of Colonnade House.

Together, they’ll explore what it means to make art in the face of death, the folklore surrounding grief, rites of passage, and the objects we create and keep to remember, honour and make sense of those we’ve lost.

An opportunity to see this extraordinary body of work up close, hear more about the ideas and processes behind it, and consider the strange and enduring human impulse to make something tangible out of loss.

Knock me down.

I'm sat on my brewery floor crying.

What a huge honour to be nominated and shortlisted for brewer of the year at this year's @womeninbeeruk awards.

Thank you to whoever nominated me.

It's been a tough year (check the @handbrewco blog for a detailed update on that) and there's not a lot left in the tank but this has given me a big old recharge.

Congratulations to all the other nominees, to be listed alongside you is a privilege and a huge source of pride.

See you in Manchester to celebrate you and us all.
