Trust me - there have been setbacks along the way.

But I am determined to continue down this path and to help other women do the same.

We are so much stronger than the messaging that has been pushed onto us our entire lives.

We have such a capacity for change, growth, and transformation.

What’s waiting on the other side is a life fully experienced and enjoyed. It’s the ability to wear what we want when we want and not care what anyone thinks. It’s confidence that is rooted in who we are instead of how we appear to others.

The freedom that comes with that is worth the discomfort that it takes to get to that place.

There is nothing wrong with your arms.

But right now, we’re being shown one version of what they’re “supposed” to look like — smaller, thinner, tighter…

And it quietly makes us feel like our bodies are the problem.

I used to have thinner arms. And when my body changed, I felt like I needed to do whatever it took to get them back.

But the truth is… this is my body now.

And chasing a version of myself that no longer exists was pulling me out of my life and keeping me stuck in frustration.

Your arms are allowed to look the way they naturally do.

And you are still healthy, attractive, and worthy—exactly as you are.

To be completely transparent — after filming this video and looking for pictures to include, I realized I had almost no photos of my body from the time I was on anxiety meds.

Because I deleted them.

Any picture that I felt didn’t show my body in a flattering way was gone. Which means most of what I have from that time is posed, angled, and carefully presented. The swimsuit photo included in this video is actually recent — because I genuinely had nothing from that period that showed my body as it actually was.

That says everything about how challenging it was for me to accept the ways that my body had changed.

Learning to feel at home in my body as it is now took a long time and a lot of work - but it was so worth it.

If you are on your own journey of accepting the ways your body has changed, I hope my content can offer you some peace of mind and a little love along the way ❤️ by @yasmine__amour

Your body is so so so sooooo deserving of your appreciation!! I love you ❤️ by @yasmine__amour

Comment ‘MINDSET’ and I’ll send you the training! ✨ by @yasmine__amour

Most of these are within just one woman’s lifetime! I’m 28 and have already experienced 3 drastic changes in what is considered the “ideal body” for a woman 😤

It’s so obvious that we were never meant to be able to keep up..

I was really confused when the “ideal body type” switched over to being extremely thin again. It felt to me like it happened overnight!

I think that’s the whole point. Just when we feel like we’ve gotten used to a certain standard and done our best to fit into it, the standard changes again and often times in the complete opposite direction.

This means that many women take drastic actions (surgery, extreme dieting/exercising, etc.) in order to continue feeling like they will be seen as attractive.

It’s all so sad and so evidently profit driven. We live in a world that both creates and feeds off of our insecurities!

But we can make the choice to take a step back, see things for what they really are, and accept the fact that our bodies were not meant to fit into these ever-changing trends. There is sooo much freedom in coming to terms with that ❤️ by @yasmine__amour

Let me know if you can relate to this 💗 by @yasmine__amour

Really not trying to hate on anyone’s decisions about what they want to do with their body ❤️ I just find some of these procedures very concerning and think it’s extremely important for girls and women to hear that it’s totally okay to not have a tiny waist!!!

As someone who had a list of cosmetic surgeries that I wanted in the past, it’s very important to me that I share this message ✨

I wrote this the other day and wanted to share it in case someone out there needs to hear this..

I actually have really enjoyed writing for most of my life and want to do more of it 💗

For some reason this feels so much more vulnerable to share than my other content tho..😅 by @yasmine__amour

Nothing wrong with posing! It’s fun 🥰 but if women only see posed versions of bodies online, they start to believe that a body is supposed to look like that all the time..and that couldn’t be further from the truth ❤️ by @yasmine__amour
