Around 3 (ish?) years ago, the wonderful Jolanda Moletta approached me to collaborate as a guest vocalist on her entirely vocal album, Oceanine

From the vocal stems I sent over, Jolanda weaved together, not only a stunning piece of music, but a whole immersive and spiritual experience, and gifted us with the track “Their Voices Rise Above the Waves” 🌊

It feels like a privilege to be a small part of this beautiful album and I am truly thankful to Jolanda for asking me to be a part of it 💜

If you’re interested in hearing more about the album, our inspirations and our influences, join me, @jolandamoletta, @karenvogtmusic and @mt.fog this Monday 8th June on instagram live for an evening of all things music and magic ✨

Hello 👋

I’ve been getting a few messages lately asking if I’m busy making any new music or got any live shows coming up, and the answer is not at the moment. This year, I have decided to take some time out to de-stress from the burnout of yearsss of trying to balance creativity and day job/normal family life.

This has meant I haven’t played any gigs, been posting any updates or been writing or working on anything new for a while, I’ve just been enjoying life and trying to be more offline because, like so many others, I’m having a complex relationship with social media and artistry right now, and I needed to take a break from delivering “content” to please the machine, so that I can deliver more of the things I actually want to put out into the world

I’m doing great and I’m feeling more inspired so maybe I’ll work on something later this year 🙏 by @yllwbllymusic

Goodbye 2025

Honestly it has been a tough year, and I especially want to thank my friends and family for getting me through 💜

I am grateful for all the amazing things I’ve done this year. And all that I’ve been able to accomplish with the help of others. It’s been a year of trying new things and learning. A year of evolving and adapting. A year of learning to balance, trust the process, and take time out.

Thank you to everyone who has listened to, bought and streamed my music. To everyone who I’ve created something beautiful with, this year more than ever, you have made so much difference 🫶 by @yllwbllymusic

Had a beautiful time in St Davids this weekend for @boiafestival 💜

Thank you Boia for having me 💜 And thank you to everyone who came to watch and said kind things about my music 💜

This was my final show of the year so I wanted to post this: Playing shows as a solo artist can be a lot of work and honestly, I couldn’t do it without the help of my amazing wife. Even though Yellow Belly is a solo project, it is a team effort. There is so much unseen work behind the scenes, travelling, loading and unloading equipment, sound checks, rehearsals, photographs, videos etc. I’m hugely grateful for all her support and all the opportunities I’ve had to play my music this year 💜 by @yllwbllymusic

Ani Glass released her new album ‘Phantasmagoria’ this month. What a journey to this moment. Fittingly, Ani’s debut LP ‘Mirores’ (“observer”) was based around movement and progress. It was her first foray into the self-taught art of recording and production. Ani Glass has not stopped progressing or moving, since.

Inspired by working with Martin Rushent as a member of indiepop group, The Pipettes, a strong pop sensibility was cemented as a member of the band, Genie Queen (managed by OMD’s Andy McCluskey. Additional inspirations included 1980s artists and producers Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre and Arthur Russell (who inspired her to learn the cello).

At the start of 2020, just before the release of ‘Mirores’, Ani was diagnosed with a rare benign brain tumour. The diagnosis marked the beginning of the personal journey that has shaped ‘Phantasmagoria’. That final shape is a lush, introspective concept album that delves deeply into her experience of navigating life since then.

Phantasmagoria unites the languages and mediums at Ani’s disposal to express a poignant time in her life, with lyrics in Cymraeg (Welsh), Kernewek (Cornish) and English, as well as some British Sign Language woven into her live performance.

Futuristic, fascinating pop. Ethereal vocals, lush instrumentation and swirling synth pulses echo early Goldfrapp or Enya but this is all Ani Glass, Phantasmagoria is intricate, ethereal, expansive - and newly revealing with every listen.
