Roopkund is a high altitude alpine lake which is also known as the mystery lake. I wanted to go to this lake because of the things I had heard about it. The trail goes beyond the bedni bugyal to Roopkund. It's a 50 km long trek which is generally done in 5-6 days. I attempted to do it as fast as possible with the help of campsites pitched by Indiahikes at Abin kharak so I didn't need to pack anything for camping. Although I couldn't reach the lake and came back 2 km before the lake I think it was a wise decision as I was alone and the weather was turning bad. Will attempt this again when the amount of snow will be less.

Ali bedni bugyal is a very beautiful meadow trek it has amazing meadows, beautiful sunsets and amazing mountain views. What else can you ask from a trek.

Kuari Pass- A beginner friendly trek which can be a first himalyan trek for a lot of people. This trek offers amazing mountain views with less effort. For me Kuari pass will always be special because my training happened on this slope, I lead my first group here and learnt a lot, met lots of amazing people. I did the trek thrice and each time I experienced something new.

Khanpari tibba is a 4000m peak and rani sui is an alpine lake at 3900m. Both of these are very close to eachother and can be covered in a single hike. We were a group of 3 individuals and we started early from the village of Sangchar and reached back to the village before dark. The trail starts steep but once you reach the ridge it's mostly rolling. There are 360° views and a lot of big peaks are visible. Really beautiful hike.

Bhrigu lake in an alpine lake situated at some 4200m, it's a quite famous trek. We were 3 individuals who planned to this trail as a day hike. We started around 11am which was a little late and hence couldn't reach the lake we had go to come back from some 4000m. We practiced snowcraft and had a a lot of fun on the trail. Definitely want to go back and finish this one.

Sethan dome is a dome shaped peak right above the village of sethan. It is a 4000m peak which gives amazing views all around. This is the first peak I've trekked to in the Himalayas. It was a long day for me as I started at 6am and came back home by 7pm so it was a 13hr hike covering 31km and gaining 2200m of elevation. While ascending to the peak I saw a bear's paw prints on snow and got a little scared as I was solo, thanks to manav he motivated me over call and I was able to summit the peak. It was an amazing experience to stand on the peak with the stunning views and seeing no human around.
