More celebrities in Wellness, means more people will try it, so we’re all getting closer to peace of mind. 🤏🏽😌 by @yogiwithjacque

Thanks for having us One Yard: HBCU Experience at Clark University! ❤️🐆

I still remember what it felt like to be welcomed back to my HBCU (❤️💛) It was a feeling of being seen, celebrated and reminded that this is my place to land.

It was such an honor to create a little space of softness for the students at The Well station. We filled the space with affirmations, journaling, yoga and sound baths, all through silent headphones! ✨

The sweetest part was hearing students leaving feelings inspired to create their own wellness group on campus. ❤️✨ For some, it was their first sound bath!

This is why I love creating safe places of peace. 😌 Wellness doesn’t have to feel intimidating or exclusive. Sometimes all we need is an invitation and permission to slow down. 🙏🏼🧘🏽‍♀️✨ by @yogiwithjacque

Still vibrating from this one.

Had the opportunity to bring sound healing + intentional rest to the One Yard: HBCU Experience at Clark Atlanta University plus getting to do it alongside my God Sister @yogiwithjacque made it even more special. 🤎

Our young Black people are navigating a world of constant notifications, social media, technology, expectations and pressure. Teaching wellness isn’t just about telling them to “relax.” It’s giving them actual tools to pause, breathe, regulate, reconnect with themselves and REST without guilt.

Because self-care is more than a trend. Wellness is a life skill. And the earlier we learn it, the better. 🌿

Love seeing our babies choose a little stillness in a world that constantly asks for their attention.

What’s one wellness practice you wish someone had taught YOU when you were younger? 👇🏾

🧠Tip✨: do balancing poses on the days when you can’t seem to get out of your head and you need a reason to stop thinking … so you can focus on ALL of your weight being balanced on one ankle while trying your hardest not to fall flat on your face 😅

Perfect practice to clear your mind right out! 🧠✨

By going to a weekly yoga class, you may very well find your hips and hamstrings are ready to slide into a split! 😄

Consistency does amazing things for the body!

One class at a time, one breath at a time 😌

.. and suddenly the impossible starts to feel natural! ✨
