Venice in color

Endless overstimulation of the senses- a stay in Venice during the biennale is like living in an amusement park. Every time I visit I am reminded that the container that holds the art can really elevate the art itself. A magical place where even the inconveniences add to the charm, navigating the labyrinths become a game, conversations with international wanderers lure my mind further away from reality ✨ taken in Venice, Italy by @yokoteki

Venice in B/W

As vibrant and alive Venice is in the summer, I appreciate this city the most in the moments of solitude or steps away from the crowds, just receiving the breeze from the sea, the sound of the cicadas, stark shadows, bouncing reflections that lures me into a constant dream state ✨ taken in Venice, Italy by @yokoteki

5 days in Berlin was FULL of everything that nourishes my soul- dance intensive on creative process, gallery and museum visits, biking everywhere and humming whatever comes through, flea market scavenging, and catching up with a dear friend over quality food and orange wine. Already wondering how I can come back for a longer stay ✨ taken in Berlin, Germany by @yokoteki

The Window Seat

In these over-stimulated, distracted times, it feels cathartic to focus on one thing and find the infinite curiosity and play within ✨

Fun fact — much of the material on ‘silence is a sharpened blade’ (out now on @dinzuartefacts ) was originally composed for a live performance installation with movement artist Yoko Murakami at Mabou Mines.

This video pulls from the original 3-channel installation I created for the performance folded into a single frame.

The piece is “Blues for Bill Orcutt”

If this resonates, grab the limited edition set of 5 (with genius homies Laura Cocks, Camilo Angeles, Lester St. Louis, and Carlo Costa) on the Dinzu Bandcamp before they disappear—link in bio
