Rotterdam, when did we get so serious?

We think it’s time to play again.

100 people.
One empty pool.
Headphones on.
Everything else off.

We’re bringing energy, movement and a whole lot of life back into the old Tropicana.

No yoga experience. No performance.
Just show up.

Comment 010 to unlock your special invitation.

WHERE IS MY OFF SWITCH?

You know you're tired. You know you need a break.
And somehow, you keep going anyway.

During ADE, that might mean another meeting, another night, another commitment. But what happens when that way of operating becomes normal?

This panel looks at burnout, anxiety, depression and exhaustion from both sides: the pressures that come with working in electronic music, and the patterns, habits and choices we bring into it ourselves.

Not to decide who is to blame, but to understand what keeps us going, what we can change ourselves, and where the industry has a responsibility too.

If you recognise this in yourself, work with artists or teams, manage people, or simply want a career in music that you can actually sustain, come and join the conversation.

Paul Sparkes brings more than 30 years of experience as a DJ, producer and promoter at the heart of electronic music.

Rosaline Tóth has worked as a emotion therapist for over ten years and brings mental and emotional support directly into the music industry, including backstage at DGTL and previously on-site at For Love and Health of House.

Shirley van Dam is a DJ, yoga teacher and founder of Yotecha, born from her own search for a healthier way to stay connected to music.

Véronique de Leon spent more than a decade working inside electronic music, from artist and stage management to programming, bookings and venue operations, before moving into health coaching.

Moderated by Michèle Kelder, founder and organiser of For Love and Health of House. With a background in addiction counselling and her own recovery from addiction, she created FLHH to bring conversations around addiction, mental health and wellbeing into the electronic music industry.

Thursday 22 October | 11:30–13:00
A Lab, Amsterdam Noord

Full access ticket €20
Thursday + Friday.
ADE Pro pass holders free entry, subject to capacity.

Tickets via link in bio.
