As I celebrate yet another birthday, I sit and reflect on the years passed and how I have truly matured as an individual both personally & professionally, the different mindsets I have had towards my craft as well as the various relationships I have formed with multiple persons. Life is one of constant change and at the end of it all its all about the “gift” which we have received that will leave a legacy behind us. That is the story that will be told long after we are gone by generations to come. Only, if we make use of our gift ,will that story be told, lest we be forgotten in the sands of time. My intention going forward, is to leave behind my own legacy to go on in positive way.

To know that I did things my way, the best way I knew how to, but most importantly, to inspire and teach others about my love for food and how it has truly changed my life.

And when my life is over and I reach heaven’s gate that I am accepted and I can also do what I love in the kitchen with the rest of those who have passed on.

Would I change my career? Not a slim chance on that. I’d do this a thousand lifetimes over. This is the one thing that brings me immense joy. To truly express myself the best way I know how.

This is 33. Happy birthday to you kid. Ya come far and have so much further to go, but we in it for the long haul. taken in Saint Philip by @youngog246
