For over 4 years we’ve been catching glimpses into Your Art Tribe member’s Studio spaces all over the world. !
It’s a great way to get to know one another a little better and see where & what we create

Suzi Alcock is an experimental printmaker who dabbles in collage and mixed media to help with her compositions. Her message of ‘you cannot learn everything in one go... you do it in bit sizes” is so apt for our class this month titled: The Artist’s Way In

Join us for an exploration of how artists gather — how we collect the threads, impressions, memories, colours, and sensations that eventually become our work. Before a brush touches paper, before a mark is made, there is this quiet, instinctive phase of noticing. Of being porous. Of letting the world in.

“gathering is not just a step in the creative process. It’s a way of orienting myself in the world. A way of belonging.”

Take a look what’s inside our month of April with what our members are saying …🧑‍🎨🧑‍🎨

.. “what a beautiful, calming class. I was an avid art journaler, stopped for awhile and slowly returning. Love your idea of mining your own pages. I am excited to look back through all my journals for ideas” Tanya

.. “I am looking forward to try putting this information into practice. I loved the idea of mindfulness, presence, slowing down. I loved the thoughtful tips on how to go about transitioning from journal to canvas.” Patricia

“ . I can see how to bring all the bits of my practice together in almost a light bulb moment and I’m buzzing! “ Karen

One of the things we love about @your_art_tribe Art community is getting to know one another a little more. Where you are in the world , what lights you up and how you set out your creative spaces.

This week we visited the home studio of fellow artist @janiebowman36 who shared her gorgeous surroundings and fascinating art sketchbooks .. It’s the places where she brings her creativity to life

In our March Challenge we invited Your Art Tribe members to explore light - how it inspires our everyday lives and our art

We’d love to know what role light and shadow play in the way you create ?
