Emptiness used to feel like a curse to me, a kind of void or hollowing of myself. But the more I sat with it, integrated it, acknowledged it .. the more I realized what my emptiness was: space. Space for so much more of who I am versus who I tried to be. And what a gift emptiness is, because there’s nothing but space for that feeling to go from “empty” to complete. I appreciate how Light can only shine BRIGHTEST in the dark. by @yourfavoritemichael

To whom it may concern 🌹:

I know it’s been quite a while to 98% of my friends and fam(ily). I wish I had the social personality I used to have as a teen/young adult but I don’t. I tend to dissociate most of the time and really only engage people if they’re in person, if that. I’ve become so disconnected from the world everyone else seems to be in and for that, I’ve lost so many people I still hold dear in my heart. From Brentwood friends, to my soul tribe. And tbh, I only use social media for 2 things now: to keep up with your lives silently loving you guys from a distance (all of you), and to absorb stimulus from all the pages my algorithm has fed me these past few years (pretty much doom scrolling on pages I relate to).

But in all of that, I don’t communicate with you all anywhere as often as I truly want to at my energetic best. I really do miss you all. Yes, even you 🌹.

So please bare with me. I’m finding ways to bridge those gaps and reconnect in ways that honor & uplift. I’M STILL HERE 🤍.

Winston Eddiestone Drummond ❤️. I promise I’ll find the right words to say when my heart stops bleeding so much. Just know, I wouldn’t be here today or even half the man I am if it weren’t for you. You found a lost kid and saved him. Opened your home & your heart for all of us. You’re the reason we made it through. Especially me. I’m sorry I wasn’t there by your side to make you laugh one last time but I will carry you in my heart & soul forever, even into the afterlife. Until we meet again pops 🌹.
