Bore da! What a lovely surprise to wake up to this morning. A big thank you to Katie at The Cardiffian for the lush article and review of our little shop. Your positive words have fuelled our passion even further. We're grateful for your support and look forward to serving you again soon.

We’re very excited to announce that the amazing Trina Dawkins aka @trina_runs an experienced ultra runner and race organiser in her own right will be joining us to chat with Rhys Jenkins on the 20th March.
.
If you’re interested in adventure, endurance challenges and the world of ultra running then you won’t want to miss this!
.
Rhys will be chatting to Trina and giving us an insight into some of his past, present and future challenges and how, along with his wife Cerys they are helping shape the future of ultra and trail runners in the UK by creating an environment that everyone can feel welcome and safe to take part in otherwise daunting distances.

Have you walked past and wondered ‘what is that place??’
Come on in…it’s not just about the coffee… here’s a quick look at our incredible plant based pastries and cake😍 🌱🥐
.
“Oh my god, that is literally the best almond croissant I’ve ever tasted” - overheard on the bench in the Yard.
.
And… if you’re thinking of heading slightly out of Cardiff, why not pop in to our shop in Tongwynlais.. same vabs with a touch of countryside @firstlightcoffeecardiff

Sometimes we think what would life be like without coffee?
Then we’ll have a coffee and forget that silly little thought..
Flattie? Americano? Latte?
What’s your favourite?

We had so much fun at our launch with the run and rave, we’ve decided to do another… 🙌
.
Lush people and lush tunes on a Saturday morning… what better way to kick off the weekend than a run, great coffee, great company and some banging tunes!
.
📅: Saturday 28th Feb 10am
.
Non runners also very welcome… all you need is some energy and your dancin’ shoes 😉
