Some highlights because there is joy in everything.

1. The year started with me doing what I love. Experiencing snow for the first time was a plus.

2. A PR deadlift. Not the best form but I'll take it for now.

3. I can't say no to a mirror selfie.

4. Something that puts a smile on my face.

5. Something that makes my heart smile.

I believe that we are connected one way or another. God didn't give you that talent to keep it hidden. Someone depends on what you have. Share it with others. ❤️ by @yourstrulyjemima

There are many disappointing moments that we could've avoided if we hadn't run ahead of Him. But because He is such a good God, He doesn't get mad at us. Instead, He picks up the pieces and places them in the right order. Stop running away from Him. by @yourstrulyjemima

Grief is a journey, one I wouldn't wish on anyone. What I've learned is that most people are afraid of the word, yet many are familiar with it. It's not something you can run away from. You have to embrace it, stage by stage, and make it your own. Over time, it starts to feel manageable.

Do what is best for you during the process: connect with others, journal, sleep in, or say the dark joke that makes others uncomfortable.😃 by @yourstrulyjemima

As a former people-pleaser, I know the feeling of wanting to be liked by others. So, we say and do what we think others would like. But God didn't create us to be like one another. He created us to be different. Each one of us has something we can contribute to this world—something that others need. Hiding that gift only leads to a dull life. by @yourstrulyjemima
