I can’t believe I get to be this person.

Because three Februarys ago? All I wanted was a dirt nap.

On Feb 11 2023 I found out I was pregnant. A shock to the system and a clusterfuck of thoughts. By the morning of February 12, I felt conviction. I broke through the initial fear, and let myself feel happy. Unfortunately, I started to bleed. I spent the night on the bathroom floor thinking I was going to die. I was broken to be the only one to witness the brief reality of her existence. February 13, eight hours in the emergency room gave me the assurance that I wasn’t going to die, and the paperwork to confirm “a pregnancy of unknown location.” On February 14, still bleeding, my boyfriend calls and casually breaks up with me on his lunch break.

Four days broke me open. I unraveled. The next few weeks felt really fucking scary. I was disoriented, distraught—normally optimistic, solution-oriented, and gifted with future visioning, I saw absolutely nothing for myself. A void. I couldn’t see past the next minute.

In a marathon tango with grief, something powerful came through. Grieving this loss was the messenger of ALL of my grief. The grief for the part of me I lost after CSA. The grief for the versions of myself who thought abuse was normal. The grief for the paths I didn’t take. The grief for every single thing I didnt allow myself to want because of my fear and trauma. It came rushing through me, as if it needed this particular wound to finally release. If I could experience this much joy and loss for something I previously did not think I wanted in my life, what else was I missing?

By every measure I was supposed to fail. I was supposed to settle. I was supposed to ☠️.

I integrated the parts of me I loved before all of the trauma - the loud, the colorful, the risk averse. I aligned her with who I want to be now. I had to believe she was possible before I could see her. Just three years later. I am her. The mythical version of myself. A fucking legend. by @yourtarotbff

I love finding cosmic moments in columbus ✨ getting my hair done after a year and a half feels so refreshing and a much needed change - this money piece is my new favorite thing 🤩 @virtuevegansalon also has this unreasonable hospitality approach that is so refreshing and fun. Like these oracle cards just made my mystical lil heart so happy.

people ask me all the time where to get auras read and this is always my answer. I’ve had my aura read many times over many years and this is hands down the best I’ve experienced. so happy to have her book now too!
