Client feedback and testimonials are one of the most important things for my business since a lot of my marketing is “word of mouth”. And my clients are the best! Just look at these glowing reviews ❤️ I feel so blessed to be able to do what I do and bring magical guest experiences to any event! Live personalization makes people feel special. And when it’s done it calligraphy, they can see the thought you put in to their experience and that makes them feel seen. Every time they look at their item, even thought it doesn’t have a logo or monogram from the couple or company, they still remember your event because of how you made them feel ✨ Ready to level up? Nothing says “amazing company culture” like matching custom bracelets 🙌🏻💁🏼‍♀️ I recently was able to work with Tracker at their trade show, where they gave out custom engraved bracelets, flasks, compact mirrors, and bottle openers to anyone who came to their booth! Of course once the word got around, more and more people started showing up and their leads increased 🙌🏻 Everyone looooooved the bracelets especially and we ran out of gold by the end of the day. It was so fun to be able to work with the team and help them make their trade show a success! Talent is just a pursued interest. People think that you become successful all of a sudden, but fail to see all the time, effort, and work it took to get you to that point. I would have never booked the clients I have now with the lettering I started with. And they wouldn’t have found me without me putting in the money for continuing education about building a successful business! I am a firm believer that anyone can learn to do calligraphy if they have the passion for it, and the energy to pursue it. And that goes for anything you want to be successful at. It’s true that you can “do whatever you put your mind to” if you keep working at it. It’s crazy to see where I started compared to what I’ve accomplished in just the last year. One good thing about social media, is that I am able to go back and see my work through the years 🙌🏻 I can’t wait to see what the next many years bring in this career 🫶🏼 Alison Yox is a calligrapher and engraver in Denver, Colorado specializing in onsite calligraphy and engraving for events, brand activations, weddings and more. While I don’t offer wedding signage anymore, I do love doing unique place cards! These calla lilies were printed on cardstock before they were cut out, and lettered on with a pointed pen and white ink! They were added to the menus, which were placed on each person’s plate at their seat 🤍they also indicate each guests order with one letter in the left corner. They are both functional and beautiful 🤩 Each detail is made with purpose 🤍 Alison Yox is a calligrapher and engraver in Denver, Colorado specializing in onsite calligraphy and engraving for events, brand activations, weddings and more. Engraving for the Denver Nuggets was a dream come true for me 🫶🏼 It was such a smooth event thanks to the 4 assistants I had, the event planner being amazing, and all the guests loving their gift at the end of the night. You could really feel all the small details making a big impact throughout the night. I had so much fun engraving all the fun phrases that the guests came up with, and working with the event team! I love making magical moments through live engraving and can’t wait to work with the nuggets again! Guest favors should be practical, memorable, and most of all, feel like you 🤍 These cowboy hat bolo ties were the perfect favor for the WIPA Q3 event at @copperbarranchco in Vail. I just finished reading “Threshing Day” exactly a week after this incredible event! All of these customizations made me really excited to get back into the world of the Empyrean after being in SJM world for so long 😅 I haven’t gotten to do a ton of paper and pen calligraphy lately because I mostly do engraving or hot foiling, and this was a reminder that calligraphy looks elegant no matter the medium 💖 (it’s also a lot easier and faster this way lol) See you at the next book release 🫡🫶🏼 Alison Yox is a calligrapher and engraver in Denver, Colorado specializing in onsite calligraphy and engraving for events, brand activations, weddings and more. My hand is still recovering from all the amazing bookmarks I got to make on Monday for the midnight release of “Threshing Day” by the Queen, Rebecca Yarros! It was so incredible to see all of the amazing fans decked out in their fourth wing merch (peep my shirt 👀). I was even able to create some bookmarks for Nicole and Lexi of the Fantasy Fangirls Podcast! Can you guess which ones are theirs? 😏 Thank you so much to @tatteredcoverbookstore for having me at this extraordinary event! And thank you to my wonderful assistant @artncraft_corner who got all the content and did all the guest service 🩷 I can’t wait to do this again for the ACOTAR 6 release in October! I love working events where I become friends with the staff 🫶🏼 It was so fun to be surrounded by so many women and to watch them interact, laugh, and have girl time with each other! I don’t know about you, but I love the juxtaposition of a “bad” word, written in beautiful calligraphy 🤩 As long as it fits the vibes, I’m happy to do it!
