At this point, I’m just trying to figure out how I got here……

I have children to raise, a career to manage, a life to live… and somehow I’ve added SQUIRREL CONTROL to my résumé 🤣🤣🤣

And the audacity of this squirrel to act like I’M bothering HIM….. we have had several encounters leading up to this!

We’re calling this season ROMANTICIZING MY LIFE!

A beautiful atmosphere, a delicious meal, and some much-needed quality time with ME! And let me tell you, I enjoyed every minute of it!

Sometimes you have to stop waiting for a special occasion, a reason, or someone else to treat you. YOU are the occasion!

I’m learning to find joy in the little things, create beautiful moments for myself, and enjoy the life I’m building along the way.

Acne, clogged pores, and congested skin… baby, we are getting things MOVING!

Y’all know I’ve been talking all things acne this week, and today I’m sharing one of my FAVORITE masks… Limelife Mask of Zen!

I like to call this my “straw in a jar” because it helps draw out excess oil and impurities and gives those congested pores some much-needed TLC!

I also used my Good Molecules Overnight Exfoliating Treatment to help with dead skin buildup and uneven texture. Because sometimes our skin needs a little EXTRA attention!

And let me say this for my sensitive-skin girlies… I have sensitive skin TOO! 🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m very intentional about what I put on my face, and I love finding products that work for MY skin without leaving it feeling irritated!

One thing about skincare… consistency is KEY, and patience is part of the process! We aren’t looking for overnight miracles. We’re working toward healthier, happier skin!

Ok, I KNOW I’ve been talking all things ACNE this week, but clearly my skin wanted to join the conversation!

I have NO idea what’s going on with the left side of my face, but baby, it has been CONGESTED!

Thankfully, I have all the right goodies in my skincare arsenal to help get things back under control! 🙌🏽✨

And since Dai has officially taken over my spot treatment gel (because teenage skin has a mind of its own 🙄😂), I had to place ANOTHER order! This time, I’m keeping a spare because between her teenage breakouts and my grown-woman hormonal skin, we are NOT playing these games!

One thing about me, I’m going to find what works and KEEP it stocked!

Okay, I have to brag on some goodies we’ve been using lately….

As the kids get older, these hormones are HORMONING 😂 and we’ve definitely started seeing some changes in their skin.

Now my Dai is just like her momma….sis LOVES a good serum, a skincare night, a routine… ALL the things! Wellllll, she may have been doing a little too much, and we started noticing all these little bumps on her face.

So first, Momma shut ALL the extras down! But even after simplifying her routine, the bumps were still there. We went to the doctor, tried the cream we were given, and even scheduled a dermatology appointment… but the first available appointment was FOUR MONTHS away! 😩

So while we waited, I decided to keep things SIMPLE: a gentle cleanser, spot treatment, moisturizer and smoothing pads. Nothing complicated. Just consistency.

Y’all… by the time we finally made it to the dermatologist, her skin looked SO GOOD! The dermatologist basically told us to keep doing what we were doing because everything had cleared up beautifully!

SAY WHAT?! And your momma sells these too?! 🙌🏾💃🏾

Yes ma’am! I love finding products that are gentle enough for her routine and leave her skin looking healthy, smooth, and thriving. And the fact that Momma already had the goodies…. Even better!
