New Japanese restaurant alert in Chatswood! 👀🇯🇵

They specialise in Teishoku sets, which come with a main dish plus so many delicious side dishes!🤤

We also tried their Mentaiko Carbonara, light and super creamy 🍝

Then we had their Salmon & Avocado Roll, the salmon was so juicy and fresh! 🍣🥑

And don’t even think about leaving without trying their Matcha Cheesecake with Yuzu Cream 🍵🍋 The cheesecake was so creamy, and I LOVED the texture!

Flew from Sydney to Melbourne just for this little Puffing Billy adventure @puffingbillyrailway 🚂🥹

I finally tried this Michelin-recognised Tamaki style pizza that everyone’s been talking about! 👀🍕

And honestly, we came at the perfect time because they’ve got their Spring special running from September 1st to November 30th! 🌸
Order 2 or more pizzas per table, and you can get a complimentary choice of meatballs, arancini or yuzu octopus!

This is Pizza Studio Tamaki @pst.australia in Sydney CBD, a Michelin-recognised spot known for their unique Tamaki-style pizza.

But first, we started with their 24-month-aged prosciutto with fresh burrata and this was honestly one of the best prosciutto and burrata combinations I’ve had in Sydney!

Now, onto the star of the meal, their Ocean Umami Pizza! 🍕🌊
It has a tomato base with that juicy, vibrant tomato flavour, combined with prawn, tuna, scallop and mozzarella. So much flavour in every bite!

Then we tried their 5 Formaggi Pizza with a cheese base, and we especially loved it with the honey! 🍯🧀 That sweet and savoury combination was so good.

And for our complimentary choice, we went with the arancini and this might be the BIGGEST arancini I’ve ever seen in my life! 😂

Of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert 👀
We tried their chocolate layer cake with ice cream, a collaboration with Koi Dessert Bar, and so rich, chocolatey and satisfying! 🍫🍦

And one thing I really noticed about their pizza is the texture, the base is soft, chewy and supple, with an olive oil base adding extra richness, plus those beautiful charred spots from the 500-degree wood-fired oven 🔥

It’s Gisa Dining @gisa_dining_115 in Campsie, and they have a $19.90 lunch special from Monday to Friday 11am–3pm (except PH).
But the best part? 12 complimentary side dishes! 😭✨

They also offer a big hotpot special with 12 complimentary side dishes every Monday to Thursday, so hotpot lovers, take notes! 📝🔥

We started with their massive Chicken Katsu, crispy, crunchy and seriously BIG 🍗

Then came the Deluxe Grilled Fish Combo. The fish was really soft and tender with a simple salty flavour 🐟

Braised Beef Short Ribs were super herby, with beef that was incredibly tender 🍲

Last but not least, we had their traditional Korean hotteok with ice cream! 🍦

Okayyy, Sydney, look at the SIZE of these cinnamon scrolls! 😭

They have so many flavours, but they’re actually really quick to sell out, so you better not come too late 😁

I tried the Gochujang Garlic Salt Bread for the savoury one and honestly I’m obsessed 🤩

For sweet, the Original Cinnamon Cream Cheese and Yuzu Blackberry were my favourites!

They’re all SO big and fluffy, just look at that!

And their Matcha Salted Banana is sooo good, and you can even choose your own cold foam! 💚
