I am very grateful for the time I was able to spend at Kunstraum Villach @kunstraum_villach during my residency.
The work Olivia Clementschitsch does for the artists and for the arts is truly valuable and rare.
In addition to working here in the studio,
we visited places and met people who celebrate an extraordinary, profound engagement with life and Art and create spaces that remind us how essential it is to weigh things and thoughts—when they come from the depths of spiritual experience.
For example, a small museum in Illegio, a tiny, hard-to-reach village in the middle of the mountains, where the Fathers Alessio Geretti and Angelo Zanello, together with the town’s community managed a few years ago to continually gather treasures (even by Caravaggio, Tiepolo, Chagall…!) from all over the world.
The result is intimate, must-see exhibitions accompanied by wonderful, philosophical texts.
This place attracts 36,000 visitors a year!
Or the Museum des Nötscher Kreis, where there has always been a bakery on the lower floor, and the smell of freshly baked bread, together with the creaking of the wooden floorboards and the oil paint, evokes wild associations…
I’m looking forward to next year’s exhibition, where I’ll have the opportunity to show the works I created during my residency in Villach.

Natur in der zeitgenössischen Kunst

Eröffnung: 8. Oktober, 17-20 Uhr

Kunst und Natur sind seit Jahrhunderten eng miteinander verwoben. Die Darstellung der Natur hat sich allerdings in den vergangenen Jahren in ihrer Bedeutung, Wahrnehmung und Repräsentation gewandelt, welches auch von zeitgenössischen Künstler*innen reflektiert wird. Vor diesem Hintergrund präsentieren MARSANO und Rosenbaum Art Advisory rund 30 künstlerische Positionen mit jeweils einem Werk bis 1000 Euro, die sich dem Thema auf vielseitige Weise und in unterschiedlichen Medien widmen.

Exhibition views from „270 Degrees“, a group exhibition concluding a two-week residency in Lorenzana, Pisa.

The exhibition takes its title from the owl, a symbolic figure of the region, whose remarkable ability to rotate its head 270 degrees serves as a metaphor for expanded perspectives, observation, and shifting points of view.

The exhibition presented works created during the residency, showcasing the artists’ responses to the local environment, culture, and shared experience.

Recently, @hanno.plate and me were lucky enough to meet @zoemazzon and @guiasimonetti from @andante.horseriding , who have launched a project that combines a passion for horses, the local area, and art—a project that reconnects the spirit with nature, offering a completely different way to explore the area. Over the past few days, we went for walks and traveled through the Maremma with them—an encounter that sparked new ideas and projects, which we hope will come to fruition soon—

On the occasion of the Finissage of Yvonne Andreini’s exhibition „Pescare Perle“ we are happy to announce the upcoming concert:
Rahel Maria Rilling is an internationally renowned violinist and versatile musician. As a soloist, she performs with orchestras around the world and is a regular guest at international festivals. In addition to classical music, she is equally passionate about jazz, pop, and electronic music. She also occasionally works as a DJ and regularly performs with the internationally renowned group „Salut Salon“.
Stuttgart-based violist Kristina Menzel-Labitzke began her musical career as a violinist and later switched to the viola. She has performed with the Munich and Berlin Philharmonic orchestras, among others. In addition to classical music, she is also passionate about pop, jazz, and light music, and has shared the stage with artists such as Michael Bublé, Paul van Dyk, and Udo Jürgens.

Finissage: 6pm

🎨📚 Budi KULTURAn susret u Galeriji Forum

Budi KULTURAn susreti mjesta su gdje spajamo umjetnost, književnost i ljude koji vole kulturu, ali i ona sporija, stvarna druženja uživo.

Ovoga puta u Galeriji Forum povezali smo izložbu “Glasovi koje nasljeđujemo” umjetnica Katarine Alamat Kusijanović i Yvonne Andreini s poezijom Danijela Dragojevića.

Kroz izložbu nas je provela Katarina Alamat Kusijanović, a odabrane pjesme čitala je glumica Judita Franković Brdar.

Razgovarali smo o tragovima koje u nama ostavljaju ljudi, odnosi, prostori i iskustva… O tišini, detaljima i osjećajima koje umjetnost i poezija mogu otvoriti na neki poseban način kada ih stvarno doživimo.

I svaki put pomislim koliko nam zapravo fale ovakvi susreti. Malo usporavanja, razgovora, umjetnosti i stvarnog povezivanja bez mobitela i žurbe.

Najviše me veseli što se iz susreta u susret okupljaju divni ljudi zbog kojih cijela ova priča ima smisla 🤍
