When 90 year old Grandma Honey wants to DJ, you let her! It was so much fun providing the music, sound system and photo booth at the circus themed celebration for this inspirational woman. Thanks to @alchemyeventstudio for inviting us to be part of a fantastic afternoon celebrating Grandma Honey! And yes, this is the song she played for the crowd when she took over the DJ booth. @moby #handlingthat by @yvonnemonet

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YVONNE MONET!
I’ve just spent the past 48 hours celebrating her 60th birthday in the MEOWtains (IYKYK). I don’t have many photos from the celebration because she requested we refrain. This way we could dance like maniacs… and that we did! There is nothing quite like a Yvonne Monet party (especially when it’s put on by the magnificent Kathleen).
We got to know so many fabulous people who know and love Yvonne. She’s a one of a kind unicorn pal. We became close when we were radio DJs on rival radio stations back in the 90’s. I was her biggest fan so I called her and said “let’s be friends”. We even got to work together on the radio. Since then we have laughed, bitched, cried and talked through our ever changing career shifts. We have a rarified air friendship that I treasure deeply. Here’s a few of our greatest hits through the years. CHEERS TO THE DIRECTOR OF FUN!! Love you Yvonne! 🐈🐈‍⬛🦄🦄

I thought I would try and unlock a new skill with the Double Dutch Pros this week. My watch was worried for me and wanted to alert someone that I may be in danger.🤣 I went back to my DJ booth and minded my own business. #doubledutch #handlingthat #yvonnemonet #jumprope taken in Atlanta Botanical Garden by @yvonnemonet

This custom LED wall needs to be behind me at every gig I DJ! I played for several hundred people at this corporate event for 4 1/2 hours and wanted to play longer. I felt like I was back at the club when I could just do my thing. Thanks to @alchemyeventstudio for inviting me to DJ. #handlingthat #YvonneMonet #DJ #CorporateDJ #taylorswift taken in Signia by Hilton Atlanta by @yvonnemonet

Look at these future rock stars! The Hendersonville High School Band kicked off the day with a great set! We provided the backline for all the musicians on stage again for the Hendo Earth Fest. A beautiful day for everyone involved! #handlingthat #hendersonvillenc by @yvonnemonet
