Every Tuesday I work on Trunk Strength 💖✨, meaning all layers of the core, back, and glutes. Single-side work has shown me that my left side needs extra love. My midline is way more stable 🫶. Yay Pilates! . . . #pilates #vancouver #reformer #stretching by @yvr.pilates
I’m having a lot of fun trying classic strength-training exercises on the reformer. It’ll make you a well-rounded athlete! The extra points that require you to stabilize really show you where any movement faults might be 😀. . . . #vancouver #deadlift #pilates #fitness by @yvr.pilates
Snake: One of the most humbling exercises ever. It forces you to address any breaks in spinal continuity - in addition to working your abdominals and shoulders. 🩵🩵🩵 I use 1 Red Spring, but am working toward using less support. . . . . #mobility #pilates #stretching #strength #vancouver #reformer #fitness by @yvr.pilates
✨🫶 Core stability over everything! One of the most fun and effective ways to balance your body - and strengthen your core is to do unilateral work! Try one Blue spring for 1 min on each side, working through whatever your “full range of motion” is! #vancouver #pilates #reformer #fitness by @yvr.pilates
I remember it being so hard to drop into my body and get out of my head when this picture was taken. I used to be super all-or-nothing. I mean, I still am, but I’m getting better at finding ease with effort. What works for you? 💚💓 For me, dedicating myself to things “I’ve never been good at”, like HIIT and running have unexpectedly helped me go with the flow! . . . #pilates #movement #mindfulness #mobility #growth #community #fitnessmotivation by @yvr.pilates
🚦 Red Light, Red Light! Using red light therapy is an effective way to speed up wound healing, muscle recovery, and collagen production. Those are only a few of its benefits. It also just feels SO AMAZING. Sounds too good to be true? Well, it’s all true! 😀There are thousands of PubMed studies proving its efficacy. Let’s explore recovery together 🤎 . . . . #lighttherapy #lights #recovery #collagen #selflove #selfcare by @yvr.pilates

Improving wrist flexibility directly impacts the movement quality of your shoulders and upper-body. Give your forearms and wrists some love to see huge changes in your mobility! . . . . #vancouver #pilates #mobility #strengthtraining #flexibility by @yvr.pilates
Kneeling Side Leg Press is an extremely effective way to target the stabilizing leg! (✨ The right leg in this video). Change the height of your hips by sitting your glutes back onto your heel, or standing tall on your knee to engage the entirety of your supporting outer thigh. Try it for 2 minutes on each side on 1 Red and 1 Blue. . . . . #pilates #reformerpilates #vancouver #strengthen #legday by @yvr.pilates
Here’s a great way to mobilize and stabilize your wrists and ankles - while you work your core! . . . . #vancouver #pilates #stability #workoutfromhome #core by @yvr.pilates
