What does Head Start look like in St. Louis?⁠ ⁠ It looks like children learning and playing in the classroom, families connecting with resources, and parents pursuing new career paths.⁠ ⁠ This Head Start Awareness Month, we’re highlighting the many ways YWCA Metro St. Louis partners with children and families to help them thrive.⁠ ⁠ In 2026, we surveyed 516 YWCA Head Start families, and the results speak for themselves! 100% would recommend the program, 98.6% was the average positive response rate across satisfaction questions, and 70.3% rated the overall quality of services as excellent.⁠ ⁠ That is the power of Head Start, and we’re proud to be part of it.⁠ ⁠ #HeadStartAwarenessMonth #HeadStart by @ywcastl
