The most memorable spaces aren’t always the ones that ask for attention. They’re the ones that make you want to stay.

Soft ivory, sculpted florals, hints of olive, and the quiet glow of candlelight created a setting that felt timeless in every sense for C & J’s special day 🤍.

We’ve documented a ton of proposals, but this is one at @blithewold_ri we’ll remember for a lifetime.

At Jamal & Lashana Photography, shaping moments with intention and then giving them room to unfold naturally has always been part of how we approach a wedding day. This time, we had the privilege of taking that philosophy a little further.

We designed this setting AND photographed the story.

When Greg first reached out, he already had a clear vision for how he wanted this marriage proposal moment to feel. He had also done extensive research before deciding who he trusted to bring it to life. That alone meant so much to us.

Together, we found a setting that could carry the experience and designed with what was already there in mind. Soft colored florals, candlelight, and an open view of the coast. Every detail was intentional, while leaving room for the property and, eventually, the two of them to be at the center of it all.

Congratulations, Greg and Imani 🤍

And special thanks to @zabucandles and our girl @builtbytatiarys_ for the assistance. Could not have pulled this off as efficiently without you. taken in Blithewold Mansion & Garden by @zabucandles

We’re still floating from the magic of our Grand Opening ✨

And it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing vendors who helped bring it all to life.

The moment you walked in, @zabucandles set the tone with their warm, inviting glow in every room. @favoredbyyodit brought her vision and expertise, planning the entire event and bringing together a dream team of creatives. Our guests left with the most thoughtful goodie bags, thanks to @skinlabmed, and @getplateddc wowed us all with the most delicious bites, sips, and beautifully styled displays. All with a stunning backdrop and picturesque setups from @thelightsourcecompany 🤍

Each of you added something unforgettable to our celebration, and we’re beyond thankful to have had you with us 🤍
