@thousanddollarmovie - Block Out The Sun

Aug 16, 2022 around 1am this little idea made its way into pro tools. I got this random cheap rotary pedal in a trade at one of the gear swaps I hosted with @soundofspace and the oct +1 setting just brought this one out. It’s been out in the wild for a bit now, but it is now engraved in vinyl alongside of a killer tune by @mikebaggetta @wattfrompedro & @hodgiesbigdrum.

We tracked this one at @siouxsiouxstudio in Charlotte. 7” records are so rad, it’s an honor to be a part of this one. @jeremyradio props for the heavy lifting to get this made.

Link in bio to purchase. you won’t regret it. taken in Charlotte, N.C. by @zachluper

week from being home from LA and still reeling from the experience. I knew these songs were calling for a few different tones and I knew a P Bass and a JMJ were needed. I’m very grateful to two of the finest folks for letting me borrow these killer instruments.

@jeremyradio i’ve been on stage with you and this bass many many many times and being able to borrow it was a dream. @nystrum_guitars knocked it out of the park for ya with this one and the Jazz neck is *chefs kiss*

@coltondall27 answered the beckoning call for a mustang bass with flats like batman answers the bat signal. this thing rips, and truthfully was hard to give back. if you ever wanna sell it, i know a guy. thank you so much!

What a week. @gablepriceandfriends recorded at the legendary @eastweststudios and i would’ve been happy to be a fly on the wall, but they let me play some music instead of being a bug.

really really can’t wait for you to hear.
