#peachtober26 #peachtober26spell Any other 90s babies out there who jammed to the Hex Girls? I remember having the Hex Girls on cassette and wearing it out! 😂 I remember I always wanted to be a witch for Halloween, but since I was a boy everyone would always correct me and say I was a “wizard” …nothing against wizards, but I was & always will be a WITCH! 🪄✨ anyone who tries to tell me otherwise is getting hexed! ✨ so here’s a sweet doodle of little me, in all his witchy glory. #hexgirl #marker #witch by @zachmanbeck

Started working on this fella about a year ago, but never finished it because I thought it wasn’t any good. Sometimes I suppose that all we need is a little space from our own work in order to be able to see it with fresh eyes again. Can any other folks out there relate? #childrensbookillustration #folkart #kidlit #watercolor #gouache by @zachmanbeck

Thank you all for showing Language of Birds so much love 💚 @jelappano has such a gentle way of story telling that really influenced my image making for the book…I set out to create quiet moments that aimed to capture the warmth of Jon-Erik’s voice. This piece, in tandem with its sister spread, are two of my favorite quiet moments from the book. 🐦‍⬛ by @zachmanbeck
