Hi everyone! My name is Zach Benson and I’m an entrepreneur. Really excited to connect with you all!

I was born in South Korea and raised by my adoptive parents in Iowa. When I was 23 years old, I set off to South Korea on a mission to reconnect with my birth mom. After months of searching, I was finally able to meet her and now she’s one of my biggest supporters.

As an entrepreneur, I started my journey when my dance career ended due to an injury. A friend got me interested in trying out Instagram and pretty quickly, I got hooked. I’ve been working for the past few years to master the ins and outs of the platform, and now I help influencers and Fortune 500 companies monetize & grow, gaining millions of followers on social media.

I’ve gotten to work with countless resorts, hotels and tourism boards around the world, including managing influencer marketing for the Dubai Tourism Board. Through my business, I’ve been able to travel all over the world to help businesses grow their digital influence and speak at conferences.

About 6 years ago I heard @markwahlberg speak about discipline.

Early mornings. Hard workouts. Doing what others won’t.

That stuck with me…
but my life didn’t look like that.

The past 6 years = 1,000+ nights traveling.
Different country almost every week.

Late nights. Client dinners. Long days. Little sleep.

I got out of shape.

But wherever I went, I’d drop into an F45.

And no matter the country…
same energy. same people. same feeling. 💪🏻

Recently Ive been spending more time in Korea & went all-in on the F45 45-Day Challenge.

—-> Down almost 10% body fat!

But the biggest lesson:

Consistency beats everything.

Not motivation. Not intensity.
Just showing up. Every day.

Between 2018 and 2020, I spent $300k on travel.

Whenever a speaking event organizer told me they wouldn’t be able to pay for my flights and accommodations, I offered to pay for it myself.

To back up a step, in 2017 I noticed that people speaking at international events, conferences, and masterminds were getting insane recognition, online exposure, and leads.

I wanted that for myself.

But I wasn’t well known enough to be invited.

So I found mutual acquaintances to intro me, reached out to event organizers, and offered to provide them value through Assistagram, my Instagram growth agency.

It took hundreds of hours to patiently follow up, schedule calls, and convince them to feature me.

And then, more often than not, agree to pay my own fare when they wouldn’t.

The result: that investment has 55xd itself. And I expect it to be worth even more as the recognition I’ve gained results in opportunities to speak at other conferences and more leads.

No one’s going to open that door for you.

You have to hustle to get a foot inside.

And, of course, be willing to spend money to make money. by @zachvacay
