Last week, I had the pleasure of sitting down with my friend and R&B superstar Houston Kendrick to celebrate the release of his new album, A Portrait of a Boy on Fire.

From hearing the stories behind the making of the album to talking about the journey that brought him to this moment, it was special to witness the music come full circle.

And let me just say… this album is a 10/10. No skips. 🔥

So proud of you, Houston. A Portrait of a Boy on Fire is officially out in the world, and I’m so happy we got to celebrate it together.

Closing out CMA Fest week with the inaugural American Dogwood brunch presented by my guy @shaboozey was the perfect finale.

Good music, great company, and a new chapter that felt uniquely like my city, Nashville.

Until next year. 🌵✨🏜️
