#TeamZap has been working alongside #ZapClient @zelhotels on their We Dare You campaign, a documentary series following creators and athletes as they challenge themselves and push beyond their limits.

This past weekend marked an exciting milestone as we wrapped production with Ian Fonz (@fonzian), documenting his journey toward his first Chicago Marathon. From early planning to filming that began in May, it has been so exciting to see this project come to life, with our team supporting production at ZEL Punta Cana and capturing the final stretch of Ian’s marathon journey.

Rooted in ZEL’s focus on movement, wellness, and living life to the fullest, the We Dare You campaign celebrates the mindset of pushing beyond your comfort zone and embracing new challenges. Through Ian’s journey to the Chicago Marathon, the campaign brings these values to life, highlighting the dedication, resilience, and personal growth that come with daring to do something new.

A huge thank you to the ZEL team and everyone who has helped bring this project together. More to come!

A fixture on La Paz’s Malecón since 1940, and widely considered the oldest hotel in the Baja peninsula, Perla La Paz is set to open this October following an extensive transformation. Alongside #ZapClient @AirTahitiNui, a presenting sponsor of the event, #TeamZap had the immense honor of attending the Getty’s welcoming celebration for the “Portrait of Mai,” a masterpiece and anthropological artifact by English portrait painter Sir Joshua Reynolds.

Depicting a young Pacific Islander called Mai who arrived in London in 1774 as the first Polynesian visitor to Great Britain, this spectacular piece was welcomed with a private Polynesian blessing ceremony along with cultural traditions of Tahiti through musical and dance performances.
