This work focuses on the immense richness of textures left behind by ancient ruins and the way modern life continuously interacts with them. Crushed fragments, coarse aggregates, and classical Roman motifs are fused into unified entities. #romecontemporaryart #porcelainsculpture #ancientarchitecture #europeanporcelain #cretaromeresidency by @zen_du

The work developed during the artist’s residency at C.R.E.T.A. Rome explores the eternal city of Rome as a complex landscape balanced between reverence and ruin. #romecontemporaryart #cretarome #porcelain #porcelainsculpture by @zen_du

We are officially back in the States. The whole show survived transport thanks to my wife @lmschico who insisted we figure out how to bring it home. We had an amazing time in Italy, but Rome, with its people who value face-to-face connection over a hustle culture, has stolen our hearts. by @zen_du

Mnemosyne Projects presents the works of four ceramicists in a site-specific exhibition at Bellevalia Olive Grove. Set within the living landscape, the exhibition explores ceramics beyond function, as a medium once shaped for symbolic, ritualistic, and artistic purposes. In this context, ceramics take on another dimension, one that carries memory, identity, belief, and transformation. Together, site and objects invite reflection on the relationship between human intuition and the natural world.

Curated by Ekaterina Juskowski
Exhibition design by Marilia Lezou
Produced by Bellevalia Hydra
