It’s been a magical and transformative summer so far hosting some amazing humans in our sanctuary 💚 We’ve met people spanning ages 3-83 visiting across 4 states, all traveling through their own unique wellness journeys. With nearly 6 million donkeys killed annually for the unsustainable and cruel Ejiao (donkey hide) trade, we know our work is far from over. FriBRAY gratitude 🙏🏻🫏This week our sanctuary was hit by a tornado that went undetected - no alarms or alerts. We somehow slept right through it!We’re so grateful everyone is OK, and have big gratitude for our amazing friends and neighbors for jumping in to help us clean up a huge tree in the pasture that was left in a dangerous position by the storm and would’ve fallen on the herd.After a full day of sawing and stacking, the donkeys are now safely enjoying the fruits of the humans’ labor, playing in the wood piles 🤠Thank you to our wonderful neighbors and friends for just showing up after seeing the damage and pitching in 🙏🏻💚#donkeysanctuary #goodneighbors #lonejackmo #kc by @zendonkeyexperience
