You don’t have to have a baby to care about them.

You just have to believe they matter.
That their parents deserve support.
That their stories should be heard.

This is your invitation.
Believe In Babies begins now.

AI can support caregivers, improve access to services and open new possibilities. But it can also compete with something technology can’t replace: the relationships that shape a baby’s developing brain.

So the question isn’t simply whether AI is good or bad. It’s how we shape it with babies and families in mind.

At the LEARN Conference 2026, Dr. Dana Suskind and Melissa Boteach will take on that question during the Policy Plenary, Shaping AI Before It Shapes Them: Policy for the First Three Years. There's still time to register! Link in bio.

Speak up to protect Head Start and Early Head Start by October 6. Link in bio.

The Administration is collecting public comments on proposed changes that could weaken multiple parts of Head Start’s proven model. Use our pre-written comment as a starting point, then add at least 1–2 sentences about what Head Start means to your family or community so your comment is individually counted.

Head Start works because all the pieces work together. Early learning, health services, family supports, parent leadership and qualified staff surround young children and families with the support they need to thrive. Weakening those pieces creates gaps, particularly for families already facing barriers to a strong start. by @zerotothree

Head Start and Early Head Start standards are grounded in the science of early childhood development, helping ensure programs meet the specific needs of babies, young children and families.

The Administration is now collecting public comments on a proposed rule that would significantly change current standards, including requirements around child-to-staff ratios and group sizes, workforce supports, health and mental health services, prenatal and postpartum supports, and program safety and quality.

Public comments are due October 6.

We’ve provided a pre-written comment to get you started, but be sure to personalize it with at least 1–2 sentences about what Head Start means to your family or community, so your comment is individually counted. by @zerotothree
