#amec2026 Day 3: PM&R Session Lead

This was easily one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in a long time! As acting head liaison for the @snma_official Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Special Interest Group, I had the opportunity to collaborate with @mayoclinicpmr and @mayopmrres on a case-based learning session and presentation highlighting the specialty 😊

We had an incredible turnout, and it truly wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my colleagues and Dr. Shane Stone at @ucdavispmr , who helped bring this case and session to life.

Excited to recreate similar events for the future (join our group and stay tuned 👀✨)

Med school may be rough but my looks don’t have to be 🫡😂 let’s do some makeup, no foundation needed, and get ready to see patients. Currently on my psychiatry rotation and trying to take advantage of the later start to the workday☺️

Medicine is what I do, NOT all of who I am. Work-life integration will always matter to me because burnout is too real in this space. Mental health advocacy to me is shutting down the laptop, spending time with loved ones, and making room for the hobbies that keep me grounded ❤️ (plus the added bonus of being a fine, muscle mommy in a white coat 💋) 😂.

#amec2026 Day 2: DairyVision Scholar

If you told the childhood version of Zhanè that she would be presenting research at a conference—she would call you a liar 😭 but here I am, thanks to @snma_official and the @national_dairy_council . I am grateful for the opportunity to share (and hopefully expand) my work on reimagining dairy education for HBCU athletes as a former tracklete myself (GO BEARS 🐻 🧡💙)
