Had to say goodbye to my Tiger this week. Frame was tweaked from the UTBDR. Of course I’m a little bummed, but also so proud and impressed with that machine. I rode it over 60k miles and it never once gave me any problems. Cross country many times in every kind of weather on and off road, not even one engine light ever. I did the valves and timing chain at 50k. That was all it ever needed.

Mechanical success aside, providing all the wild experiences with people I really love, in some of the most mind blowing places are the bike’s biggest achievements. If you have a memory of riding with me and the Tiger, let me know by @zitos_cycles

Made this to remind me this year has been pretty excellent, even with the busted leg. Been laid up since early August and felt the ups and downs of not being able to walk, work, ride, etc. Got the cast off last week and feeling better with the walking boot. Still about a month to go with that but hope to be walking somewhat normally by early Nov. by @zitos_cycles

UTBDR trip was cut short. Rode from NJ to UT to meet up with the homies and ride across UT from AZ to ID off road. About midway through our first full day on the route I dropped my bike on a gnarly climb and it crushed my ankle & broke my leg. Tried to hike and ride out for another few hrs while my buds took turns riding my bike through the gnar but it was 110-115 degrees. We were all low on water and had a long way to go to get out of the backcountry. I got to a point where I couldn’t go on. Heat exhausted and just couldn’t deal w riding and hiking on the broken leg any longer. Thankfully the iPhone satellite SOS allowed me to call for help and they sent the search & rescue chopper to get me and bring us all more water. The guys were able to continue. We left my bike in the desert. Got an ambulance to Moab UT for IV, X-rays and a splint. The night supervisor gave me a ride to a hotel. Figured out flights back home and @therealtrailmater rescued my bike. Super thankful for everyone that helped me. All the homies had to work double time riding my bike for me when I couldn’t. All the rescue and EMS were so nice and everyone at the hospital. Even the airport folks pushing me around in wheelchairs were very nice. All my buds at home and @brandon_not_wise sending me a bunch of medical stuff to help me at home. Especially thankful for @yousofancy for always supporting me knowing I put myself in gnarly situations on occasion. Yes, I will continue to ride ASAP as usual. taken in Utah, USA by @zitos_cycles

Feeling very thankful my friend @alyspengler asked me to rebuild this bike into their true vision. It was certainly a ton of work to change everything but the frame and motor. Many tabs and parts had to be cut off the frame and smoothed while new ones added. All new axle spacers machined from scratch, fender, tank and sissy mounts welded on. The factory harness was cut up quite a bit so I had to add back everything that was missing so the horn, hi-low beam and signals would all work with the new chrome OEM style switch gear. All the factory Deutchse connectors were repinned and hidden inside the new headlight bucket just like the stock setup. Wheels, fork, seats, fender, sissybar, handlebars, tank, pipes, lights, front brake, side panel and controls are all new. The bike handles and rides really nice for a rigid frame and springer fork. ‘20 Softail and ‘07 Dyna recently in for service and tires. Tough to beat the paint and chrome on late model HD. Both really nice looking machines, especially out in the sun. by @zitos_cycles
