这部AI作品《活下来的碎片》是我和Mark一起做的~真没想到能在全球这么多地方放映和获奖，被大家看见并且喜欢，感觉很美好。希望有更多机会在大银幕上看到它～特别感谢我的搭档，他不只是我的合作伙伴，也是我AI的老师，能一起享受创作的快乐（边赶deadline边吃着肉夹馍和冰淇凌），实在很幸运👻

My partner Mark and I made this film together. We never imagined it would get screened in so many places across the world and be loved by so many people. It’s such a lovely surprise. I hope we can get more chances to see it on the big screen. I want to give a special thank-you to Mark. He’s my partner, and also my teacher when it comes to AI creation. 做了首high的歌！
然后愉快地开始整MV，结果过程比我预想的时间长，为了卡点舒爽，剪辑点实在有些密集……
但我好喜欢这首歌和MV啊！
里面的老姐妹儿们都够带劲的🤘🏼

起了个名字叫《女王驾到》(Here Come The Queens!)，特意生成了黑人女声的浑厚嗓音，还加了点儿饶舌。

我宣布，这是我给我的姐妹们的情书！：）

PS，这首歌真的深得我心，改了好多版，之后做MV的时候我每天跟着摇头晃脑，token在燃烧，但为了浮夸的小姐妹们 - LET IT BURN! 哈哈💋

While running up the hill the other day, I passed a building with ancient murals on its exterior wall. They caught my eye immediately. After finishing my run, I took this route back on purpose to take another look at the artwork. The more I stared, the more I grew fond of it. It suddenly occurred to me that I could take a photo and run it through AI to learn about the building’s history.

Once I uploaded the picture, the AI told me this was Galileo’s former residence, where he spent his final years. I was utterly stunned. This is Florence.. Even random spots hold such monumental history.

I had read before that Florence hosts a Galileo Museum, yet his actual house remains private property. It was never nationalized and is closed to visitors; people still live inside. I remember thinking how incredible it would be to reside in the very house where Galileo once lived. I had never set out to search for this private home, and I never expected to stumble upon Galileo’s old place simply because I was drawn to a mural while running.

It was around 8 a.m., on empty quiet streets. It felt almost as if the mural was calling out to passersby. Later I noticed Galileo’s name written in Italian above the doorway, but I had been so absorbed by the mural that I missed it at first. The whole experience felt surreal, thrilling and lucky. After my daily run, I head off to visit museums. The annual pass is absolutely wonderful — I can wander in and out of all these magnificent palaces whenever I like. I’ll spend an hour strolling through art galleries post‑run - with very few tourists, then go home for breakfast and get down to work.🥰 taken in Firenze, Italy by @zn11

”Showa‑Era Cat Series“: The Red Cat (alongside The Blue Cat and The White Cat)

I want to convey that vivid, crimson‑hued sense of childhood through both visuals and music.
For this track’s lyrics, I turned to poems by Kaneko Misuzu, a brilliant Taisho‑to‑early‑Showa‑era poet of nursery rhymes. She passed away at only twenty‑six, and her works remained undiscovered for fifty years after her death. I am deeply drawn to the bright, tender world of childhood she depicted. Her writings inspired this film and shaped its bold, highly‑saturated colour palette.

I came across a woodcut print the other day and fell in love with its distinctly Japanese‑style aesthetic. I wanted to make a film in that vein, weaving in Shōwa‑era vibes and leaning into a touch of melodramatic flair 🤣.

I dug out Blue Cat by Sakutaro Hagiwara, written a hundred years ago, to use as lyrics — an allegory of urban loneliness. For the music and vocals to match these lines, it had to be over‑the‑top, almost unhinged. So I added some cheeky spoken‑word segments plus raw, belting vocal delivery. The end result is delightful…

When generating visuals, I kept hammering these prompts:
Blank facial expressions with wildly exaggerated mouth movements；
Hand‑held shaky camera work；
Important: the cat is the real master.

Every morning when I go for a run in this city, I pick a new route, and I always make some new discoveries. Who would have thought that these early‑morning hours are my most intimate moments of connection with the city.

On my walk home after running, I often spot charming strangers. I snap their photos, then sometimes pluck up the courage to go over and ask if they’d like the picture. If they say yes, I AirDrop it to them. For some reason, I can’t help feeling a bit awkward, like I’m snooping into someone’s private life. But the photos come out too good — I just want them to have this shot of themselves. I get all flustered showing them the picture, then “run away” as soon as I send it over. Funny thing is, everyone’s actually really happy to get it. :) taken in Firenze, Italy by @zn11
