Over time I’ve been gently swapping the generic prints in our Brisbane home for pieces by Australian artists. I love knowing there’s a real person and a real story behind what hangs on our walls.

These two Emma Martin prints are my latest additions, and I’m completely in love with them. I took them to a local framer for custom walnut frames, and they feel like they were always meant to be here.

Watch till the end to see where they landed.

I’d give anything to hold that little girl one more time, and I’m so proud of the young woman she’s become.

Turns out my personality is just one Rihanna song away from fully restored. Who’s your instant reset button? 𖥧

This morning we said goodbye to our Larry. He was 12.

He arrived around the time we received Gabe’s diagnosis. That was a season of real grief for our family, full of fear and unknowns. Somehow this little pug, who had no idea how heavy everything felt, made it all a bit lighter just by being himself. I don’t think it was a coincidence that he came to us exactly when he did.

When Gabe started learning to crawl, Larry’s double coat made things tricky, and as Larry got older, travelling got harder for him too. So he went to live with his Nanny and Papa, and they adored him. Our hearts are with them today, because this loss is theirs too.

Thank you for being exactly what we needed, Larry. Zen will be there to meet you on the other side of the rainbow bridge, and you’ll always be part of this family.

You thought you could outwork me? Cute. I’m a Leo who married a Capricorn.

Fire sign wife, earth sign husband, one family business and zero days off. Turns out the hardest working zodiac sign and the most confident one make a pretty unbeatable team.

So no, you’re not outworking this house. We’re out here winning. 🏆

Which sign are you married to? Tell me below🫶🏼
