My guided as a professional chef: to Nairobi’s culinary scene to give you the scoop on the best restaurants Nairobi has to offer.

Last week: I visited @upepo_restaurant , the rooftop restaurant at Kwetu Nairobi on Peponi Road.

Budget: KES 5000- 17000/= Depends on mains, drinks and whether you will go all out for dessert.
🌿Ambience : 10/10 Elegant, chic, warm and intimate. The lighting and decor make it ideal for date night
🤍Service: 9/10. The service personnel ( shout out to Antony) super friendly, very patient with me and very polite as well.
🍲food: 10/10. Well presented dishes with very well balance and complimentary flavors.

Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY!

Happy Mother’s Day! 💐
Tomorrow, we honour the women who raised us, believed in us, and loved us unconditionally.

The bond between a mother and child is full of emotion, a mix of deep love, hard lessons, tears, laughter, and lots of healing. To celebrate Mother’s Day, we invited amazing mothers and daughters to sit down and ask each other meaningful, honest questions. What followed was raw, beautiful, and powerful.

To every mum and daughter who took part, Asante Sana. You brought your whole hearts into this.
