INFR//ULTR
I have recently become fascinated by the idea that human perception is inherently limited - that there are frequencies our eyes cannot see and our ears cannot hear. Rather than finding that unsettling, I’ve found it strangely comforting; a reminder that our understanding of reality is incomplete, and that there may be far more beyond our perception than we can ever know.

INFRARED (SIDE A)
Infrared is the sister track to Ultraviolet, exploring the faster, more driving side of the project through a drum and bass-influenced sound palette.

Beneath the breakbeat foundation, South Asian tabla and dhol textures are layered into the rhythm, subtly referencing heritage and identity - an audible thread of ancestry that exists within the music even when it may not be visually recognised, holding a quiet certainty of self.

ULTRAVIOLET (SIDE B)
Blending trip-hop with ethereal soundscapes, Ultraviolet is a journey between wonder and fear.

Inspired by the idea that we are made from the same elements as stars, the track drifts through cosmic awe, spiritual questioning, and reflections on mortality, imagining the experience of crossing into the unknown. by @zolatec

Side A Infrared:
•
Infrared radiation
Solar light
Bleeds from the sky
Burns bright
Bleeding this bright
Infrared radiation
Woah
I mistake that heat you have for a lack of soul
And I forget our human eye can’t see it all
