Throwing back to that year when we hung flowers from the ceiling at RSVP restaurant in Victoria Island.
It was a challenge figuring out what to use as stems. Can you guess what we finally went with?

Over the weekend I had a conversation with a friend. We were talking about womanhood and all it entails when she said, "Growing up, my mother used to say that she needs to nourish herself first before she can effectively care for others. I did not understand this until I had my own children. Now, when I wake up in the morning, I nourish myself first spiritually, emotionally, physically."

My daughters......
They are an important part, a key ingredient even, in the soup that is this world. But the best ingredients come to nought in a bad cook's kitchen.
My hope is that it will be a better world for them. We need to do better, be better, for them.

My Dad used to do this thing where he would wish anyone he hadn't seen a 'Happy New Year' even up till June! It seems I might have taken after him on that one. Lol!
