It’s been two years since we set this train on track, not knowing how far it will get. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to reach so many corners of the world. I want to thank everyone out there who listened to, shared and played Ich Und Meine Ubahn, helping it reach its new home base in Montreal.

I remember Turbo Recordings from the beginning of my journey with electronic music. I first discovered them in 2005, when my friend Birger showed me how to mix vinyl records. He had a lot of Turbo records in his collection, and many of my first experiences involved their music.
Now 20 years later they are still around, putting out great music and I almost couldn’t believe when they reached out to do a remix ep of my track.
And as this is the first time someone has done a remix of any of my tracks, it feels kind of unreal to have these names on the record.

Big thanks to @extrawelt , @_architectural_ , @donmatiasaguayo and @wkrampf for taking part in this - and special thanks to my friend @dj_mellg , not only for contributing a really nice club version but also for always encouraging me and believing in what I’m doing.

And last but not least thanks to @guthrie___ , @tiga and the whole @turborecordings crew for making this happen! 🤍

two years ago my friends @newinfluenzer and @11schnull released the track “ich und meine ubahn”.
shortly after, @tiga reached out to me and asked me for my favorite tracks at the time. i sent him this one.

this year @turborecordings is releasing a remix ep of the original.
featuring @extrawelt, @donmatiasaguayo, architectural, krampf and myself and i’m glad to be part of the release and to give the track a robotic and aggressive touch 🤖🎸🦇
i’m happy with the result and also to see my loved ones grow and keep pushing 🤍

enjoy

When you love a record too damn much, you will soon discover whether you “got what it takes” to make it yours. Such is the case with Turbo label head @tiga , who has played @11schnull & @newinfluenzer 2023 underground hit “Ich und meine Ubahn” in each and every one of his DJ sets since its non-Turbo release. But unbridled track-passion is not always enough, and sometimes one must take a step back and recognize that the music business is also a business. So our in-house Corporate Development team, which has of late been entirely focused* on figuring out how best to monetize Tintin entering the public domain, set to work, successfully licensing the original while also creating the fun and potentially life-saving opportunity to visualize just how amicable the licensing process was.

All of which brings us to the remix pack at hand. The essentially perfect electro programming and vocal performance of the 2023 original leaves virtually no angle for improvement, save for the fact that the 4:20 runtime not enough for the median touring DJ to satisfy their chatbot mistress before they must begin the exacting work of selecting and mixing the next track. As such, we enlisted producers who could interpret the song from different planes of existence.

German aesthetes @extrawelt provide a two-pack of their usual mastery, one for the digital heads + one for the vinyl dorks.

As such, we enlisted producers who could interpret the song from different planes of existence, namely Chilean-German wizard @donmatiasaguayo , whose remix is OUT TODAY on all platforms. Matias makes music like nobody else, and has masterfully brought his unique touch to the Ubahn.

We are kicking off the new year by collaborating with our dear friend @guuc20459 .Together we celebrate on January 31st at NTSC @pal.hamburg, in thrilled excitement of what this new space has to offer. Hailing from South London, we’ll be supported by none other than @angel_d_lite who’s guaranteeing iconic and euphoric dancefloor moments. Popping in with naughty breakbeat rave, sexy downtempo house or questionable good disco breaks, she’ll be creating a vibrant night you don’t want to miss.

Watch out! We’re celebrating 3 YEARS OF EGYM!

On 2.11. the time has come, our collective turns three! How time flies! We would like to thank all those who have celebrated with us over the last few years. Thanks to all the artists who have turned our parties into an experience, to all our friends who have supported us and of course to all the clubs who have provided us with their space. Without you, none of this would have been possible.
Let’s celebrate this properly on Saturday, November 2nd at the Golden Pudel with our friends CMP, Festnacht, Dj Blip and ONLYLU.

– Luckily, it happens to be our crew member Newinfluenzer’s birthday on the same day. Let’s make this one special.

After a little break we are back at Golden Pudel Club for the first time in 2024!

Starting things off with none other than Berlin based electro label @mechatronicamusic and their amazing artists Electrodon, Mejle, Aura Nox and Milan Hermess.

We couldn’t be luckier as we also celebrate the opening of @locke20359 right above Pudel.
Join us for a pre-session with drinks and music before heading downstairs for the rest of the night. ✨
