On our 2021 trip we came together, we laughed, we cried, we twerked and all got home safe Covid free! Lock down edition was one of the most rigorous things we have ever done and we are forever grateful to the team: our staff, ambassadors, our beautiful attendees and YOU, our supporters for making this dream come true! This project we don't profit from is close to our hearts and really us trying to bring the international family closer together as the powers that be try to draw us apart. We know the beauty of queer family and allies coming together to remember that we are stronger together especially now. So thank you! Thank you for believing in us and what we are trying to build with Connek.
Finally! Mark your calendars! The next official dates for the Connek trip are March 10-14, 2022!

Sign up for the waiting list for next year and support our movement! Link in bio.

BIG UP TO @s.m.will FOR THIS VIDEO ICONIC VIDEO 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿❤️

We did it! We sent out 2 huge barrels with our Connek Care packages and genders affirming care yesterday to Jamaica! Clothes, shoes, toiletries, food, and electronics all with the help of all of you who donated towards this love package to our kin Jamaica. A special thanks to @bttfresources @spicy.zine @sapphicja @ragganyc @blacktranslove_ @cmoneverybodybk for tapping into to make this happen.

If you have more to donate comment in this post and we’ll find a date/ space for another drop off event. 📦💗

Next month we are flying down to give out these donations and hand out no barriers cash to trans and queer folks in Jamaica still rebuilding from Hurricane Melissa last November. Every dollar goes directly to a trans or queer Jamaican rebuilding their life. No overhead. No middlemen. Just solidarity, in action.

Give what you can. Share what you can’t. The work continues, and so do we. With love and solidarity. -

A lot of our trans and queer family on the island are still navigating a post hurricane life as the resources that poured into the island from major NGOs were not allocated to THE PEOPLE. A lot of Jamaicans at large in big parts on Jamaica are still without the rebuilding infrastructure they need. So we are doing it all again to step in with no barriers funds and care packages. See you on the dance floor 💕🇯🇲 #MutualAid #TransLiberation #BlackTransPower taken in C'mon Everybody by @1emmanuel

💗💗💗 As you may know a lot of our trans and queer family on the island are still navigating a post hurricane life as the resources that poured into the island from major NGOs were not allocated to THE PEOPLE. A lot of Jamaicans at large in big parts on Jamaica are still without the rebuilding infrastructure they need. So we are doing it all again this Fall 2026 with grassroots work!

From distributing food and resources to creating spaces of safety and joy, our work continues to center those most affected and too often left out of recovery efforts.

We believe mobility, care, and access are not privileges ; they’re lifelines. 🖤✨

We will be releasing drop off information for gender affirming care products in NYC soon so stay tuned and hit us up at info@connekja.com if you have some things to donate! 🙏🏿💗🫂
