There was a time I would’ve called this cringe. Now? Bring it on…..the swing….the flowing dress & the fish that made me think of the movie piranha 😂

I’m giving myself permission to loosen up, have fun and be free to be me. And it feels so good!

Take the picture. Get on the swing. Do what brings you joy. Don’t let what others might think keep you from living fully.

Singapore with the family! 🇸🇬
Four generations discovering, laughing and making memories together.

We missed F1, but we certainly made the rounds! 😂 From orchids and the Cloud Forest to dazzling lights, cable car heights and bites at Lau Pa Sat. A little nightlife, local designer love and shopping bags we won’t discuss!

Baecation in HCMC before the AC fam vacay❤️

Our luggage was left in Taipei….our sleep pattern was off….I realized that I really don’t like snakes BUT when I’m with him I embrace the adventure & let the good times roll because life is precious & short & all we have is today!!! So I make the most of all my “todays” ❤️

Autumn is my favorite time of year. It’s harvest season….a time to cultivate connections and gather with the people who make life beautiful. 🍂

On Thursday night in NYC, @industry360 x @culturecon’s “From Soil to Soul: A Caribbean Market Feast” brought that feeling full circle. Our food, our stories, our people; wherever we go, our roots come with us.

Thank you, @tenilleclarke1 for bringing us together in the marketplace to feast on all the love and beauty of our Caribbean heritage.

For years, I wore a mask and became very good at looking like I had it all together. In this month’s piece for @ttguardian I share how the song “I’ve Never Been To Me” helped me recognize that I wanted to live more freely as myself.

What an honor to be in the room for the inaugural Legacy 100 Brunch, surrounded by people who understand that legacy isn’t simply what we leave behind, but also, what we build, how we serve, and who we lift along the way.

30 years ago, on Trinidad & Tobago’s Independence Day, I gave birth to my beautiful Sea @sea.etc 🇹🇹❤️

How fitting that the country she has always loved and revered so deeply became the place where she recently brought her Master’s thesis film to life.

Watching her tell stories rooted in the land and culture she loves makes this milestone even sweeter.

Happy 30th birthday, my filmmaker. 🎬❤️ And Happy Independence Day to the country that holds such a special place in her heart and mine. 🇹🇹
