This song really hit me to my core, the realization that my life was about to drastically change started to sink in and the only solution was to dance.

Selling PFA was absolutely one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make in a very long time. Over the course of this year I have had many sleepless nights, a waterfall of tears, anxiety and somehow mixed into all of that, excitement.

Listening to our intuition can be scary in some moments but once I started to quiet that fear and lead with love, the bigger picture of my life started to paint itself.

When I moved to London 10 years ago, I didn’t hesitate to immediately start renting space to teach my Heels drop in classes. From knowing no one at 29 years old in a strange city, to where I’m at now, having built a massive community of women who believe in themselves and have reignited their joy for dance, is truly a dream come true.

From drop in Heels classes, to AOS; my heels performance company, to @pfalondon - it has been a decade of non stop dance. I have met SO many amazing humans, directed and produced shows I am so proud of, created competition choreographies that won us first & second place and facilitated countless workshops.

What a BLESSING.

Thank you to everyone who has danced with me, whether it was years ago or last week, you have all been apart of my beautiful journey.

Thank you to the OG’s in my life, the ones who started as heels assistants, instructors and quickly became women who I proudly call my best friends, yall know who you are, I am so grateful for you.

Thank you to the wildly talented team of instructors at PFA, who believed in our dream and helped grow this incredible community.

And thank you to @kay_hamlyn for being one of the reasons why this dream was able to come alive, I am grateful for the last 7 years of movement with you.

I am deeply humbled by the experience of owning PFA, it changed my life in so many ways, and saved it too.

I cannot wait to see how the bright future of PFA unfolds in the new ownership of @embeedance @sarahs.dancediary and @rach.loves.pd ✨

I will still be dancing my little heart out but chasing a new DREAM, my next endeavour…so stay tuned 👀 by @_sarahellendance

To our amazing and valued community, after much discussion, tears and laughter, we (Sarah @_sarahellendance & Kayla @dr.kay_fit ) are officially hanging up our PFA Owner heels.

This was not an easy decision but the last 7 years have been such an incredible journey. From the bubbling excitement we felt when we had our very first Open House in 2019, our yearly performances watching you shine, charity events and community gatherings, to our last Anniversary celebration in the studio, it’s been an honour to witness and facilitate it all.

We want you to know how much your support and loyalty has meant to us through the years.

We experienced a pandemic together, the birth of our children, the highs and lows of running a small business and we couldn’t be more grateful for those who stuck by us.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us grow and live out our dreams of opening a space that nurtures self expression, empowerment and artistic creativity.

The little girls in our hearts are so proud that we built a space that allows people to feel so much love, and we have all of you to thank for that…for believing in us.

BUT this is not the end, we are excited to announce your NEW Owners of PFA, Emily, Sarah F & Rachel.

3 women who have been apart of our community as students and as instructors, a full circle journey. We know that we are leaving PFA in such capable hands and we look forward to seeing how this community will continue to grow under their leadership.

So if you see us around the studio don’t be afraid to strike a conversation, ask us questions, give us a hug, we are here to support you.

This may be the end of an era for us but it is the beginning of a very special chapter for our new Owners and for PFA.

We love you all, thank you for everything and never stop moving!

Happy 8/8 Lions Gate 🦁♥️✨

Manifesting more moments like this where I feel at home in my body, where I can express my sensuality and feel empowered by it.

Dancing for me has never been about the male gaze or anyone’s gaze for that matter, it’s always been about me and my body and how movement makes me feel.

Last night I felt strong and in control, I felt free and sensual, I felt at home.

So grateful for the women who come and dance with me and allow themselves to be vulnerable.

Okay, I have to share - I am SO proud of myself, I wore the damn crop top!!! (while teaching an entire Barre workout at the studio the other day) @pfalondon ✨

Why is that a big deal you might ask? Well, it’s no secret that my body has changed since having 2 c-sections in 2 years…I really struggled to regain strength and feel confident in my body again.

Through breastfeeding both boys for a year each time, hormones, weight gain, back pain, loss of feeling in my abdomen, scar tissue sensitivity, you name it - I think I’ve finally found a flow.

My appreciation for my body runs deep, but it has been a complicated relationship. Now I try and focus on all that it has carried me through, for birthing 2 boys, for allowing me to keep dancing, for simply letting me walk through my garden every morning. I’m so grateful.

I’m curvy and embracing it, feeling stronger every day, eating healthy and finding new ways to move my body that spark joy.

So yes, a crop top was a big deal for me and for anyone who needs this reminder - SOFT BELLY SUMMER IS IN!

Thanks to my girl @lisa.silvestro for the fit, it made me feel some type of way 🥵
