Motherhood is a beautiful journey, but it comes with unique challenges—especially when it comes to nourishing yourself while caring for your little one.

Meals to Moms is a community-driven initiative providing fresh, nutritious, and prepared meals to expecting and nursing mothers. My goal is to ease the burden of meal prep while ensuring moms receive the nutrients they need for energy, recovery, and well-being.

This initiative is made possible through community support and donations, helping us offer affordable and, in some cases, free meals to moms in need.

Liberated Learning looks like this…
Car rides home are the most interesting when we just talk. No preaching… well maybe just a little….☺️ but still space to listen, ask questions, answer questions. Laugh.
But moments when we are able to talk, forreal. What’s happening around us, in us, to us.
What we can control and what we can’t.
He is 8 now…. The questions and curiosities are rolling in!
I gotta stay on my toes!

This time next week our family will be headed to GHANA!! 🇬🇭
I want to give a MAJOR thank you to our village which has poured into ZYERE and have helped to make this dream a reality. My son will have the opportunity to extend his learning beyond the barriers, fears, and stereotypes often placed on our little black boys. My baby is living a life of LIBERATION and I will continue to make him aware of his powers and abilities!

Let’s talk Precipitous Labor!
Precipitous Labor is an extremely quick labor and delivery, typically lasting less than three hours from the start of regular contractions to the birth of the baby.

Now I’m not sure if this particular birth constitutes as precipitous because this client was definitely experiencing contractions since 6am…. However, the line between early labor and active labor was THIN baby! Partly, because mama was doing so well laboring at home. We stayed on the phone and stayed in contact and she did what she needed to do to labor down!
AND THAT SHE DID HUNNY!! YALL are going to have to hear all about this birth story to determine for yourself!

But for my birth workers: Do you constitute precipitous labor to be from active labor to delivery, or the entire labor to delivery?
LET ME KNOW!
