Sadly it did not get me a tattoo apprenticeship :(

(Lowkey my fault for having a full-time job to pay my bills)
but it’s okay the shop was sweet and I enjoyed picking through years of artwork to choose from. Honestly overwhelmed with everything I actually drew 😭

In honor of starting a new deck to add to this series I thought I should finally post my two other lady decks.

Thanks to @real.innovative.artists & @camrynmather for documenting my decks and having them be seen at the last artist group show. by @a.c_inkdesigns

LAST PART ❗️ of my responses to the questions from “Bridging Borders Exhibition” @the__butterflyeffect_project

Check out the exhibition viewing hours & and all the beautiful art @chicagoartdept

I wanted these questions to live beyond the exhibition because they’ve stayed with me. They’ve given me space to reflect on the ways I think art can open conversations, create connection, and maybe even start to heal.

This summer I led a mini warm-up project to get teens thinking through prototypes and experimenting with different materials before diving into bigger builds.
I’m still obsessed with how clean these shapes came out. Watching them figure things out with their hands, test ideas, and refine as they went was the best part.

Now that summer’s over, I can finally share some of the work. 🏗️ by @a.c_inkdesigns
