ADQOM? In YOUR July? It's more likely than you think ✨️

We are now proud to say we are coming to you courtesy of the DCSDC Artist and Cultural Practitioner Award ~ how exciting to be a loved and gay space for the community!

Location: The Playhouse, Derry

Date: Thursday, 14th May

Time: 6pm

Sign ups are available on the night, but you can get ahead of the crowd with our google form link!

ADQOM is happening!

What is ADQOM? What does that even mean? Who are you?

ADQOM, or A Derry Queer Open Mic, is a new open mic for all kinds of performance (see our pinned for examples) and all kinds of queer performers. It is a free, sober event that is held bi-monthly (by one bisexual, and one trans gay).

Alex and Isaac (the organisers and hosts of the night) are two queer creatives with a dream, a vision, and the same therapist.

We created this night fuelled by the lack of creative spaces for experimentation and collaboration. Derry is a city with no scratch nights, very few music and spoken word open mics, and even less spaces for queer creatives to feel centred in comedy, cabaret, and even more. We want to give queer art a space year round, not just segregated to one week of the year.

Location: The Playhouse, Derry

Date: Thursday, 12th March

Time: 6pm (until they kick us out <3)

Sign-ups will be available on the night, but if you want to be extra prepared, we have a google form. Use it to give us a vibe of your performance. Follow the link here, or in our bio.
